How to change photo background in gate application. But I already applied with a blue background photo. Is there any issue with it.

kumardurgesh1802 26th Sep, 2024

Hello Sridivya,

For the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) application, the guidelines usually specify that the photograph should have a white or light-colored background . If you have already applied with a blue background photo, it could potentially be an issue, as it does not meet the official criteria.

What You Can Do:

  1. Correction Window : GATE typically opens a correction window after the application submission period. You can use this window to upload a new photo that adheres to the guidelines. Keep an eye on the GATE portal for when the correction window opens.

  2. Impact of Incorrect Photo : If the photograph is not as per the required specifications, it might cause delays or issues during the admit card issuance. It's advisable to upload a correct photo when the correction opportunity arises.

  3. Contact GATE Authorities : If you're unsure, you can also contact the GATE helpdesk to confirm whether a blue background will cause an issue.

In short, if a correction window opens, you should upload a new photo with the correct background to avoid any complications.

Ba graduation can apply for nursing?

kumardurgesh1802 26th Sep, 2024

Hello Pinky,

No, a BA (Bachelor of Arts) graduate typically cannot apply directly for a nursing course. Nursing requires a science background, particularly with subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, which are essential for understanding medical and healthcare concepts. To pursue nursing, you generally need to complete a B.Sc. in Nursing , which has specific eligibility criteria such as having a 10+2 qualification with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects.

However, if you're a BA graduate interested in the healthcare field, you could explore alternative courses such as public health, healthcare management, or diploma programs that may not have the same stringent science requirements as nursing.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

State wise category rank will differ?

Prachi Kumari 26th Sep, 2024

Hello,

Yes, state-wise category rank can differ because it is calculated based on the number of candidates within the same category (such as General, SC, ST, OBC, etc.) in that specific state.

Different states have varying numbers of applicants in each category, leading to fluctuations in competition levels.

For example, a candidate from a reserved category might have a higher rank in a state with fewer candidates in the same category, compared to states with more competition. This localized ranking system helps allocate seats under state quotas for educational institutions or government jobs.

Hope it helps !

Hello Sir/Mam, I am from India. I have always been wanting to apply for GKS. I completed my studies in NIOS [Home school]. There is no 11th std available in nios so I had to skip 11th and directly study 12th. Can I apply for GKS?

kumardurgesh1802 26th Sep, 2024

Hey Boho,

Yes, you can apply for the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) as an NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) student, but there are some important factors to consider. GKS focuses on academic performance, and as long as you meet the eligibility criteria, your mode of schooling (NIOS) won't necessarily disqualify you.

Important Points:

  1. 12th Standard Completion : GKS requires applicants to have completed their 12th standard with good academic performance. Since NIOS is recognized by the Indian government, your 12th-grade certificate should be valid.

  2. Skipping 11th Grade : Skipping the 11th grade might not be a problem, but it’s important to ensure that you have met the total required years of schooling (generally 12 years) as per GKS guidelines. You might need to clarify this aspect during the application process.

  3. Eligibility Criteria : Ensure you meet other key GKS requirements, such as age limits, academic performance, and health criteria. Strong academic records, recommendation letters, and a well-prepared study plan can enhance your application.

    Recommendation:

It would be a good idea to reach out directly to the Korean Embassy or the National Institute for International Education (NIIED) , which manages GKS, to clarify any specific concerns about skipping 11th grade. They can provide guidance on whether this impacts your eligibility.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

which college seats are available for sc castee may i know the clgs list where it is reserved for schedule castee students

Kanishka kaushikii 27th Sep, 2024

Hello aspirant,

The availability of seats for SC (Scheduled Caste) students in Indian colleges can vary widely depending on the specific college, course, and academic year. However, there are several resources you can use to find this information:

1. College Websites:

  • Individual College Websites: Most colleges have their own websites where they publish information about seat availability, including reservations for SC students. Look for sections like "Admissions," "Seat Matrix," or "Reservation Policy."
  • University Websites: If the college is affiliated with a university, the university website might also have information about seat availability and reservations.

2. Government Websites:

  • Ministry of Education: The Ministry of Education's website may have information about overall seat availability and reservations across Indian universities and colleges.
  • State Government Websites: Some state governments have their own education departments or websites that provide information about seat availability and reservations in colleges within their respective states.

4. Government Counseling Websites:

  • Centralized Counseling: If you're participating in a centralized counseling process for admissions, the counseling website will likely provide information about seat availability and reservations.

Important Note:

  • Seat Availability Changes: Seat availability can change from year to year, so it's important to check the most recent information.
  • Reservation Policies: Reservation policies can vary depending on the state and the type of college (government, private, or aided).
  • Admission Criteria: In addition to reservations, colleges may have other admission criteria, such as entrance exams or minimum marks.

I hope this information helps you.

Does DISPAR takes admisson through CUET??IF not then how??

kumardurgesh1802 26th Sep, 2024

Hello there,

No, DISPAR (Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research) does not take admissions through CUET (Common University Entrance Test) .

For undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy courses like B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and D.Pharm , DISPAR generally admits students based on their performance in the following:

  1. For B.Pharm/D.Pharm : Admissions are usually based on merit, which considers the marks obtained in 12th standard (PCB/PCM) or equivalent examinations. No entrance exam like CUET is required.

  2. For M.Pharm : Admissions are typically based on GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) scores, which is a national-level entrance exam for postgraduate pharmacy programs.

  3. Direct Admission : There may also be provisions for direct admission or counseling based on merit, depending on the course you are applying for.

To confirm the specific admission process and requirements, it's recommended to visit the official DISPAR website or contact the institute directly for detailed information on the current admission procedures.
