i am waiting for 4sem result am i eligible for pgcet counselling

Deepti Singh 19th Sep, 2024

Hello Girish!!

You can also appear in counseling for PGCET awaiting your results for the 4th semester, but some points are to be noticed in this regard:

  • Provisional Admission: Many applicants apply PGCET and report to counseling when they are in their final year. The admissions in such cases are provisional, and admission is granted considering a pending result for your final semester.
  • Final result submission: Although your results are pending at the time of counseling, you have to submit your 4th semester results before you reach the final admission stage. If it is not submitted within the time limit, your provisional admission may get canceled.
  • Eligibility Criteria: You shall have obtained all other eligibility criteria such as acquiring a minimum aggregate marks taken in all previous semesters. Such marks will determine your merit ranking as well as your eligibility
  • Document Verification: All the documents may be submitted during the document verification process of counseling rounds and such documents shall include proof of your final year results at the 4th semester.

You can participate fully in the counseling process - choice filling and even mock allotment, until your results are declared. Then, ensure that all your academic documents reach the counseling center on time

In short, you can continue with the PGCET counseling process if these conditions are met despite awaiting your final semester results.

I have scored 28/100 in theory part of ignou , want to ask if i got good grade in assignment , collectively with both theory and assignment marks can i able to pass afterwards??

sadafreen356 19th Sep, 2024

IGNOU theory paper Passing marks for Master programme is 40%. It is 35% for Bachelor programme and you marks are below that so your marksheet show incomplete . If you are having less marks than above limit then you have to re-appear in exam or also you can reevaluate your marks. It is the same in the case of assignments you need to get 40 percent of total marks you have to pass individually both theory and assignment to pass the subject.

what if we pay fee and download admission order and dont report the college can that student participate in second round counselling

sadafreen356 19th Sep, 2024

No, if you pay the fee and download an admission order but do not report to the college within the stipulated time, you will generally not be able to participate in the second round of counselling as your seat will be considered "not reported" and will be cancelled, barring you from further rounds of admission so if you dont want first college then simply just don't accept alloted college.

does not it have a BDS course?

Prachi Kumari 20th Sep, 2024

Hello,

No, Information Technology (IT) does not offer a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course.

IT is a field focused on computer science, software development, networking, and related areas, while BDS is a medical degree related to dental science and surgery.

BDS is offered by medical and dental colleges, focusing on the study of oral health, dental procedures, and surgery. IT and BDS are entirely different disciplines; one is technical, and the other is medical.

If you're interested in dentistry, you'll need to pursue BDS through a medical college, not an IT program.

Hope it helps !

I got 8k rank in ap eamcet there is a chance to get vertirnary admission in ap st category

kumardurgesh1802 19th Sep, 2024

Hello Deepika,

With an 8,000 rank in AP EAMCET 2024 and belonging to the ST category, your chances of getting a veterinary seat in Andhra Pradesh are promising but depend on various factors such as seat availability, number of applicants, and reservation cut-offs.

Veterinary courses are highly sought after, especially in colleges like Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) in Tirupati and its affiliated colleges. These institutions offer Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) programs, and the competition for these seats is generally tough.

In recent years, candidates from reserved categories like ST have had better chances of securing a seat due to the reservation policies in place. Your rank falls within a reasonable range for consideration in subsequent counseling rounds. Ensure that you participate in all rounds of the AP EAMCET counseling process to maximize your opportunities.

To improve your chances, keep an eye on category-wise cut-offs and consider opting for colleges outside the most popular ones, as they may have lower cut-offs.

I would recommend you to use AP EAMCET college predictor tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.
