Student studied in Maharashtra till 5th grade. 6th to 11th In USA and 12th in India CBSE board. Can student apply in general category in state quota or AIQ quota for MBBS Admissions 2024?

Jefferson 29th Sep, 2024

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to Careers360 with your question. It's great to see you're planning ahead for MBBS admissions in 2024.

Wow, that's quite an interesting educational journey your student has had! Studying across different countries can definitely make the admissions process a bit tricky to navigate.

For MBBS admissions in India, the eligibility criteria can vary depending on the specific quotas and states. Given the unique situation with studying in Maharashtra, then the USA, and finally CBSE in India, it's not a straightforward case.

Generally speaking, for state quota seats, most states require the student to have completed both 11th and 12th from schools within that state. For the All India Quota (AIQ), the requirements are usually a bit more flexible.

However, I wouldn't want to give you any incorrect information. Your best bet would be to directly contact the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the specific state's medical education department for the most up-to-date and accurate guidance.

Is there a particular state you're interested in for the state quota? If so, I could try to find some more specific information for you.

Remember, rules can change, so it's always good to verify the latest guidelines closer to the application time in 2024. Let me know if you need any more help with this!

by mistake i fill the BBA CA cap round form insted of BBA General so can i fill the BBA general form in next cap round

Jefferson 29th Sep, 2024

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out to us at Careers360.

Oh no, I totally get how frustrating it can be to realize you've filled out the wrong form. Don't worry though, these things happen!

Regarding your situation with the BBA CA and BBA General forms, it really depends on the specific rules of the admission process you're going through. Some universities are pretty flexible and allow changes between rounds, while others might have stricter policies

Your best bet would be to contact the admissions office directly. They'll have the most up-to-date info on whether you can switch to BBA General in the next CAP round.

If you want, I can try to find their contact details for you. Just let me know which university or board is handling your admissions, and I'll see what I can dig up.

Hang in there! We'll figure this out.

i have not alloted any seat in the second round, i want to quit the KEA counselling now, but i have not chose Choice 4 in the second round choice entry, i want to quit the counselling now, how do i quit?

Jefferson 29th Sep, 2024

Hello, and greetings from Careers360!

If you want to quit the KEA counselling process, but didn't choose Choice 4 in the second round, there's still a way to withdraw. Since you haven't been allotted a seat, you can simply stop participating in further rounds. However, you may need to submit a formal request to KEA, either online or in-person, stating that you wish to exit the counselling. It is advisable to keep a copy of any communication you send or receive, as it will serve as proof of your decision to quit.

Feel free to ask if you need more details, or if you'd like suggestions for alternate options or colleges!

Jefferson 29th Sep, 2024

Hello from Careers360!

Thank you for reaching out. If you want to quit the KEA counselling process and not participate in the third round, here's what you can do: Usually, after the second round, candidates have the option to either continue or withdraw from further rounds. You may need to log into your KEA account and choose the option to withdraw or not participate in the subsequent round. If you don't see this option, I recommend contacting KEA support directly for guidance on the exact process. It's important to ensure that you follow the correct steps to officially exit the counselling process without any complications.

Feel free to ask if you need more information!

can i directly participate in neet round 3 after round 1, skipping round 2 even if i was not alloted any seat? do i have to again pay 2 lakh security deposit? and if not will i get back my security deposit?

Jefferson 29th Sep, 2024

Hello! Thank you for reaching out. I hope you're doing well.

Yes, you can directly participate in NEET Round 3 (also known as the Mop-Up round) even if you skipped Round 2, provided you were not allotted any seat in Round 1. You don’t need to pay the Rs.2 lakh security deposit again if you have already paid it for the previous rounds, as it will carry forward. However, if you don’t get a seat even after Round 3, the security deposit will be refunded to you, usually within a specific period after the completion of the counseling process.

Let me know if you need any further clarification or additional information.
