Im a second semester B Pharma student. My college is in Kerala and under KUHS University. I would like to drop out from this course. Is it possible for me to get Transfer Certificate and my certificates back?

Samprikta Mondal 30th Oct, 2024

It's possible to get your transfer certificate back if you drop out of your B. Pharma program at a KUHS-affiliated college in Kerala,  but there might be some conditions and procedures to follow. Here's what you should know:

Transfer Certificate:

  • You are entitled to receive a transfer certificate from your current college after completing all academic and financial obligations.

KUHS Regulations:

  • The Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) regulations outline the process for transfer certificates.
  • You can find the relevant ordinance on the KUHS website: http://www2.kuhs.ac.in/kuhs_new/images/uploads/pdf/academic/2023/Pharmacy-Courses-Regulation-Gazetted.pdf (See section 1.20)

Procedure (Likely Steps):

  • Submit a Written Request: Formally inform your college principal in writing about your intention to drop out and request a transfer certificate.
  • Clear Dues: Ensure you have cleared all outstanding fees, library dues, hostel charges, or any other dues to the college.
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC): You might need an NOC from your college stating you have no outstanding dues or disciplinary issues.
  • University Approval: The transfer certificate may require approval from KUHS depending on the regulations in place.

Timeline:

  • The duration for processing the transfer certificate might vary depending on your college and KUHS procedures.

Additional Considerations:

  • Reason for Dropping Out: Depending on the reason for leaving, there could be additional conditions or processes.
  • Future Studies: If you plan to pursue B.Pharma or another course in the future, ensure the transfer certificate allows readmission or transfer to another institution.

Recommendations:

  • Consult Your College: Discuss the process with your college principal or administration for specific requirements and timelines.
  • KUHS Regulations: Familiarize yourself with the relevant KUHS regulations mentioned above.
  • Seek Guidance: Consider seeking advice from a student counselor or educational advisor for any uncertainties.

By following these steps and seeking guidance from your college and potentially KUHS, you can increase your chances of a smooth process for obtaining your transfer certificate.

I am a second drooper for jee,I given my boards in 2023 and then i given improvement in 2024,and in year 2024,i filled"appearing" in qualification details in application form by mistake. And now in 2025 registration,i am a little bit confused that if i filled"passed" in 2025,would my form get rejected??plz help me,i cant focus on my study due to this

Jefferson 30th Oct, 2024

Hello there,

I understand your concern about the JEE application situation, and I can see why this is affecting your study focus. Let me help clarify this for you.

First, take a deep breath - this kind of administrative issue can usually be resolved, and it's good that you're addressing it now for your 2025 registration.

Let's break down your situation:

1. You passed your boards in 2023

2. Took an improvement exam in 2024

3. Marked "appearing" in 2024 application (which wasn't accurate)

4. Now planning for 2025 registration

For your 2025 JEE registration, you should indeed mark "passed" as your qualification status, as this reflects your actual situation. Your form is unlikely to be rejected for this reason because:

1. You'll have your final board mark sheets (both original and improvement) as proof

2. The change from "appearing" to "passed" follows a logical timeline

3. You can document your academic history clearly

However, to be absolutely certain and give you peace of mind, I recommend:

1. Keep copies of both your original and improvement exam mark sheets ready

2. Document the timeline of your attempts and qualifications clearly

3. If possible, take a screenshot of your 2025 application for your records

Most importantly - don't let this administrative concern distract you from your preparation. The best thing you can do right now is focus on your studies while ensuring your documentation is in order.

Would you like guidance on how to properly document your academic timeline for the application, or do you have any other concerns about the registration process? Feel free to check our website for detailed information about JEE application procedures.

I am a double dropper,i appeared in 2023 boards and given improvement in 2024 in 4 subjects. What should i choose year of passing in jee application form? And also i am appearing for 2025 improvement exams as my overall % after giving improvement 2024 was 74.6.What should i fill???????

Prachi Kumari 30th Oct, 2024

Hello,

For the JEE application form, follow these guidelines:

  1. Year of Passing :

    • Since you originally passed in 2023, list 2023 as the year of passing in the application form, as it marks your first completion of the board exams.
  2. Improvement Exams (2024 and 2025) :

    • For 2024 and 2025, the improvement exams will not change your year of passing. Instead, they will simply update your score.
    • The improvement scores are optional for JEE purposes but can be submitted if they improve your eligibility, particularly if your 2025 exams help you achieve the required 75% criterion.
  3. Percentage Requirement :

    • To meet the JEE eligibility requirement (minimum 75% for general category or equivalent), you must continue with the 2025 improvement exams since your current 74.6% does not meet this threshold.
  4. Final JEE Application Details :

    • In 2025, if your improvement score is above 75%, you can submit that score in the application.
    • Use 2023 as the official passing year, and include the updated percentage from 2025 once available.

In summary, set 2023 as the passing year, continue with 2025 improvements to meet eligibility, and update your score once eligible.

Hope it helps !

Were you able to write jee mains with aadhar name(no initial) but marksheet had name with initial. I have a similar issue now, Not sure what to do

Prachi Kumari 30th Oct, 2024

Hello,

Yes, you can register and write the JEE Main exam using your Aadhar name (without initials) even if your school marksheet has your name with initials. However, this mismatch between your Aadhar name and school records can lead to some verification issues, so it’s important to handle it carefully.

Here’s what you should consider and can do to resolve it:

Use Aadhar Name Consistently in JEE Main Application
Use the name exactly as it appears on your Aadhar card for the JEE Main application form . This ensures that your identity matches the government-issued ID, which is usually a requirement for exam purposes.

Provide Supporting Documentation
When you attend the exam or during counseling, you may be required to present both your Aadhar card and marksheet. Be prepared with additional supporting documents like your school’s bonafide certificate, a notarized affidavit, or any document showing both versions of your name, if needed.

Create an Affidavit for Name Clarification (Optional but Recommended)
To avoid any issues during verification or counseling, you may consider creating an affidavit that states both versions of your name refer to the same person. This affidavit can be notarized and will act as a legal statement confirming that both names are yours.

Contact JEE Main Helpdesk for Confirmation
If you're still unsure, contact the JEE Main helpdesk to explain your situation. They often encounter similar issues and can guide you on the documentation needed or any additional steps.

For Future Documents, Ensure Name Consistency
It’s advisable to update either your Aadhar or your educational documents for consistency in the future, especially for official purposes.

Hope it helps !

my cast is obc but I dont have ncl an I cannot get it then in application form of jee mains 2025 which cast should I put while filling my form obc or general

kumardurgesh1802 29th Oct, 2024

Hello Rajdeep,

If you belong to the OBC category but don't have the Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate for JEE Mains, you should select "General" in the application form, as OBC reservations in JEE Mains are only applicable for OBC-NCL candidates. Without the NCL certificate, you won't qualify for the OBC reservation benefits, so applying under the General category is recommended.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
