Deepti Singh 12th Nov, 2024

Hello,

Withdraw Admission from a College before the first semester :

  • Most colleges have specific policies in terms of admissions withdrawals that you can find in college websites or usually by accessing the admissions office; scrutinize these details, which may outline the following: what are your financial implications in case of refund eligibility, among others.
  • Formal Application Draft a formal application requesting withdrawal from the college. Write saying why you are withdrawing, personal details, and admission reference number. Address it to the administration of the college, dean, or admissions office.
  • You are to meet the relevant authorities and drop your application at the college administration office. In some instances, you are required to meet with the dean or head of admissions. You will be required to present identification documents and admission receipts.
  • Collect Refund (if applicable): If you are eligible to receive a refund, collect one using your school's established withdrawal policy. All schools have withdrawal policies when it comes to refunding money; typically, a school will refund a portion of your tuition if you request a refund before classes begin.
  • Gather Paperwork: After you have gone through the withdrawal process, make sure you collect an official confirmation or acknowledgement of your withdrawal. You never know when you will need this document for future admissions.

To know more details on refunds and dates, please refer to careers360 or your college website.

Theoretical perspectives in sociology syllabus BA 4th semester kk university

Deepti Singh 12th Nov, 2024

Hello,

In the 4th semester of a BA in Sociology, students are more than likely to study theoretical perspectives, particularly significant sociological theories that expound on the social structure, human behavior, and the general working of the society. These include topics such as: Structural Functionalism; how institutions of society, in terms of maintenance of order, are reproduced; Conflict Theory, dealing with class and the power struggle inspired by Karl Marx; Symbolic Interactionism, considering social interaction and meaning-making according to Goffman; and Feminist Theory, looking into gender dynamics and inequalities. As for contemporary theories, some examples of topics included are postmodernism and globalization studies, keeping in mind problems in modern society and diversity.

However, the exact details regarding the BA Sociology syllabus would have been available through the official syllabus or faculty advisories issued by KK University. Numerous other sources such as Career360 make it easier to obtain information regarding BA courses in Sociology, college rankings, and possible careers, thereby aiding the aspirant.

It can also be known through Career360's Sociology Course page and other BA subjects:.

When the admission form will be given of Montfort ?

Deepti Singh 12th Nov, 2024

Hello,

Montfort College, Bengaluru generally opens its admission for undergraduate and postgraduate programs from May-June. Again, till date, no official statement has been released for the session 2024-25 pertaining to the opening of applications for admission. Again, formally, it begins by publishing a notification along with the application form on the website of the college.

One should always keep abreast of the admission notice as well as availability of forms. I would recommend checking off on official websites or through Admission portals like Career 360. There is online application form, submission of necessary documents, and counseling or interview based on the course being applied for.

You can also read more about Montfort College and related admission details by visiting the official site of Career360. In case of further updates, you can visit the Montfort College page and keep track of the release of the form from the concerned authority by an official notification.

Deepti Singh 12th Nov, 2024

Hello,

If you are an improvement candidate for CBSE and your current Class 12 marks do not meet the 75% eligibility criteria for JEE Mains, you should enter your current marks in the application form. However, it’s essential to mention that you are an improvement candidate and are planning to appear for the improvement exams. Once you clear the improvement exams and meet the required 75% marks, you can fulfill the eligibility criteria for JEE Mains. The improvement exam results will be considered final for the eligibility requirement.

Additionally, ensure to keep the required documents ready, as JEE may require proof of your improvement exam marks once they are released. Always verify the latest updates on the JEE Mains eligibility criteria from official sources.

For more detailed information about JEE Mains eligibility and application, you can refer to Career360 JEE Mains page for the latest updates and guidelines.

Deepti Singh 12th Nov, 2024

Hello,

For CBSE Class 10, all the schools in India are scheduled to start practicals from January 1, 2025. However, for schools that are winter-bound, the practicals have started a little earlier from November 5 to December 5, 2024.

These practical exams are significant as they become a part of the complete marks along with internal assessments and projects. Students need to clear the passing criteria, which involves getting at least 33% of marks in theory and practical parts to pass a subject.

Log on to Careers360 for complete updates, including the list of subjects and specific guidelines.

Hello, I am a dropper going to give the upcoming january jee mains so in the qualifications sections of class 12 should I fill my marks out of 600 or 500 given the fact that I had an additional subject.

Deepti Singh 12th Nov, 2024

Hello,

So, if you had an additional subject in Class 12 and you are going to appear for the JEE Mains exam, report your Class 12 marks out of 600 in the qualifications section. The total marks are considered out of 600 while including that additional subject for JEE Mains.

Accordingly, if you have taken an additional subject as a part of your Class 12 exams, you must ensure that you mention it clearly in the application form. So all marks you obtained including the extra one will be counted out of 600 and accordingly, your percentile will be calculated.

But if you are not familiar with how to do it then it is better to look at the official brochure of JEE Mains for the present guidelines, or contact the helpline for the same.

For more information on eligibility criteria of JEE Mains and its application form, visit the page of JEE Mains on the website of Career 360 and official website of JEE Mains.
