Tanya Gupta 16th Sep, 2024

Hello,

To pursue MSc Neuroscience from IISc (Indian Institute of Science), you'll need to meet their eligibility criteria and crack the required entrance exam. Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Eligibility criteria: Check IISc's website for the latest eligibility criteria, but generally, they require:

- A Bachelor's degree in any science discipline (like your BSc in Physics, Chemistry, and Zoology from IGNOU)

- A minimum aggregate score (usually 50-60%)

2. Entrance exams: IISc considers scores from the following exams for MSc Neuroscience admission:

- GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) - Life Sciences or Biotechnology paper

- JAM (Joint Admission Test for MSc) - Biotechnology or Life Sciences paper

- JGEEBILS (Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences)

- IISc Entrance Test (conducted by IISc itself)

3. Cracking the exam: Prepare well for the chosen exam, focusing on subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Scoring high will increase your chances of selection.

Tanya Gupta 16th Sep, 2024

Hello,

Yes, you can improve your marks through CG Open School (CGSOS) if you've already passed 12th from a regular CG Board school. However, there are some conditions:

1. Eligibility: You can appear for the CGSOS exam only in the subjects where you want to improve your marks.

2. Registration: You need to register for the CGSOS exam within the prescribed timeframe (today being the last day, please check the official website for confirmation).

3. Admission: You'll be considered a private candidate, and your admission will be provisional, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

4. Marks improvement: You can improve your marks in individual subjects, but your overall percentage may not change significantly.

Hope this helps,

Thank you

last two days i am trying to register but it shows "try after some time" i dont know what to do please help and tell me

Jefferson 17th Sep, 2024

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to us at Careers360. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with registration. That must be really frustrating, especially since you've been trying for two days now.

Hmm, that "try after some time" message is a bit vague, isn't it? Sometimes these things can be a bit temperamental. Have you tried clearing your browser cache or maybe using a different browser? That sometimes does the trick.

If you've already tried that and it's still not working, don't worry - we can definitely get this sorted out for you. Would you mind giving me a bit more info? Like what page exactly you're seeing this message on, or if you're getting any error codes?

In the meantime, I'll check with our tech team to see if there are any known issues with the registration system. We want to make sure you can get registered without any more hassle.

Hang in there, okay? We'll figure this out together. Let me know if there's anything else you can tell me about what's happening, and I'll do my best to help or find someone who can.

In m.tech NDRI Total seats would be 9 in which 5 would stay for research and course work in karnal and 4 would be sent to Bangalore for research and course work on the basis of overall rank obtained in the entrance examination.

If you don't get seat in first round counselling you are likely to get seats in second round with this rank.

Reservation Category : If you belong to a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD), your chances of gaining a seat at a government college rise thanks to the reservation system.

State Quota : Seats are distributed between the state quota and the all-India quota, with each state having its own cutoffs. Under the state quota, your chances might be better in your home state.
