I passed 12th in 2022 at 17 years, neet dropper but now in 2025 am I eligible to write jee main exam and IAT exam for btech admission in IIsr bangalore ? now my age is 19.

sadafreen356 16th Sep, 2024

No.Only 12th exam appearing student and 1st dropper are allowed to get admission in IISc Banglore but you can write JEE exam 6 times in 3 consecutive years and

You can only write IISER Aptitude twice in the lifetime that too only consecutively

This year eligibility criteria of IISc says that candidate who passed 12th in 2023 and who are giving 12th exam in 2024 are eligible to apply for admission in IISc.

But you can apply for NISER &UM CEBS through NEST.

Hope it helps!

i got 428 marks in neet and there is no chance through meghalaya state quota. Im st category. I have applied the AIQ round 2 and still result not out. Is there any chance for me and please help

monag2673 14th Sep, 2024

With 428 marks in NEET and being from the ST category, your chances of securing a seat through All India Quota (AIQ) Round 2 depend on various factors, including cutoffs, category-wise availability of seats, and the number of applicants in your category. Historically, cutoffs for the ST category are relatively lower compared to other categories, giving you a better chance compared to general category candidates.

However, since you've mentioned there's no chance through Meghalaya state quota, your best hope lies in the AIQ. The exact cutoff varies each year based on the difficulty of the exam and seat availability, but typically for ST candidates, the AIQ cutoff can range from 400 to 500 marks, depending on the institution and state.

While waiting for the AIQ Round 2 results, it’s advisable to keep an eye on any mop-up rounds or seats available through private institutions, as these could provide additional opportunities if AIQ doesn't work out. Additionally, consider exploring deemed universities or private colleges, where your ST category may provide some advantages in terms of relaxation of cutoffs.

Stay optimistic and prepared for any further rounds, as AIQ often opens more doors in subsequent rounds.

i want to know the recognize cheapest dumy school for the class 3 th to class 12 th in karnatka

Deepti Singh 14th Sep, 2024

Hello Sumit!!

A good, affordable, dummy school between Class 3 to Class 12 in Karnataka would depend on school fees, facilities, and recognition. Some of the budget-friendly recognized schools in Karnataka where quality education is imparted at a relatively low cost are as follows:

Govt. Higher Primary Schools (Various Locations): State-government schools in Karnataka are quite affordable in terms of fee and maintain the standard curriculum of the state. They are economic options for families as well.

Kendriya Vidyalayas (Various Locations): Kendriya Vidyalayas, popularly known as KVs, are central-government-run schools that don't have the high fees imposed by private schools. They follow a standard curriculum along with their facilities.

Navodaya Vidyalayas (Various Locations): Navodaya Vidyalayas is a central government school that provides free education along with lodging for its students. Admission is available through an entrance test and their performance is said to be immaculate and class.

Government Model Schools (Various Locations): The Karnataka State Government operates the schools, and quality is delivered at modest fees. They are accredited and cover the state syllabus.

Sri Chaitanya Techno Schools At Various Locations: Since these schools promise both affordability and quality, they particularly focus on the installation of technology and practice on competitive exams.

Some factors for decision-making consideration include visiting the schools, at least trying to visit the schools, checking their fee structures, and reviewing their academic performance. One has to consider consulting local reviews and talking with other parents in the same region. Avoid making any poor decisions by ensuring that the school you choose is recognized by the relevant educational authorities of Karnataka.

what are engineering colleges open to prepare for 2nd drop

Deepti Singh 14th Sep, 2024

Hello!!

If you are planning to take another drop year and need a little more time to prepare to sit for engineering entrance examinations, then you would be searching for good engineering colleges with opportunities for repeaters. Now, let's look at how to approach this situation

Identify Colleges with Relaxed Admission Policies: Some engineering colleges may have more relaxed admission policies to allow students to get in after taking a gap year. Such colleges are more merit and entrance exam scores-based, not by the number of attempts.

Private and Deemed-to-be Universities: Private and deemed-to-be universities offer many engineering programs. They may be more relaxed while considering the number of attempts. I list below some of them:

  • Shiv Nadar University
  • Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham
  • Manipal Academy of Higher Education

State and Private Universities: Several state and private universities also offer opportunities for students who leave for the second time. Such colleges are:

  • VIT University
  • SRM Institute of Science and Technology
  • BMS College of Engineering, Karnataka

Engineering Colleges in Various States: Search for colleges in other states where competition might be relatively less, which would be advantageous if you are taking a second drop. Colleges like:

  • Rajasthan Technical University (RTU)
  • Punjab Engineering College (PEC)
  • JSS Academy of Technical Education

Consult Admission Offices: Contact the admission offices of different engineering colleges and get direct information about their specific policy regarding a student who has taken a second drop.

For the latest information or any kind, check out educational forums like careers360 or directly consult colleges. They can give you a better insight into their admission criteria and if they can accommodate students taking a second drop year.
