Can I pursue Msc in neuroscience after BSC Nursing?

Sajal Trivedi 18th Sep, 2024

Hello aspirant,

Yes, after completing a BSc in nursing, you can pursue an MSc in neuroscience. Despite their apparent differences, neuroscience and nursing both advance our knowledge of and commitment to the treatment of people's health.

It's possible to go from nursing to neuroscience, but it may need you to fill in some knowledge gaps and potentially enroll in certain necessary courses. It's possible that your experience as a nurse will provide you with a distinct viewpoint when studying neuroscience, especially in fields like neurology or neuropsychiatry where treating patients with neurological problems depends on a grasp of how the brain functions.

Thank you

sadafreen356 15th Sep, 2024

You can give both exam simultaneously .both the marksheet will be valid for admission i will suggest you to stick to 1 board and prepare according to that , preference would be CBSE because NIOS is a distance learning model which better suits people who cant join regular school/ college.some university dont give value to distance mode.

If you joined SIT college in the first round of KEA seat allotment but did not report to the KEA authority, your seat will be considered "cancelled" and you will not be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling, even if you are physically attending classes at SIT college; you must complete the online reporting process through the KEA portal to officially accept your seat.

if I clear my neet at the age of 22 ... will it be okk

sadafreen356 15th Sep, 2024

Yes, it is perfectly okay to appear for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) at the age of 22. There is no upper age limit for NEET, allowing candidates to take the exam as long as they meet the eligibility criteria, which includes having completed their higher secondary education (Class 12) with the required subjects (Biology, Physics, and Chemistry). Many students choose to take NEET a bit later, especially if they are pursuing other interests or need additional time to prepare and its okay at the end you will become doctor only that matters.
