kumardurgesh1802 27th Aug, 2024

Hello there,

Yes, you are eligible to appear for NEET 2025 with your American High School Diploma recognized by the Middle States Association, as long as you have an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Here are the key points:

  1. Subject Requirements: You have studied Biology (advanced), Chemistry (advanced), and Physics (higher), which meets the NEET eligibility criteria for core subjects.

  2. AIU Equivalence: The equivalence certificate from AIU confirms that your American High School Diploma is equivalent to the 10+2 system in India, making you eligible for NEET.

  3. Other Criteria: Ensure you meet the age and other criteria specified by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for NEET.

So, with the AIU equivalence, you can confidently apply for NEET 2025.

i got 33k in neet pg 24 is there any chance to get md paeds or dnbpaeds general category from tn

kumardurgesh1802 27th Aug, 2024

Hello there,

With a rank of 33,000 in NEET PG 2024 and being in the General category, getting an MD in Pediatrics from a government college in Tamil Nadu may be challenging due to the high demand for this specialty. However, you may have a chance to secure a DNB in Pediatrics, especially in hospitals located in non-metro areas or less competitive regions.

What You Can Do:

  • State Quota: Participate in Tamil Nadu state counseling, where you might have slightly better chances.

  • DNB Options: Focus on DNB Pediatrics, as these programs are available in various hospitals across the state.

  • Mop-Up Rounds: Stay involved in all counseling rounds, including mop-up rounds, as seats sometimes become available later.

Your chances are better in DNB programs, so keep an eye on those opportunities.

I would recommend you to use NEET PG college predictor tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.

kumardurgesh1802 27th Aug, 2024

Hello Pooja,

With an AIR of 8,290 in NEET PG 2024 and being in the General category, you have a decent chance of securing an MD seat in government or DNB colleges in Kerala. Here are the possible options:

MD/MS in Government Colleges:

You might be able to get seats in less competitive specialties in government medical colleges, such as:

  • MD Pathology
  • MD Microbiology
  • MD Community Medicine
  • MD Pharmacology
  • MD Anesthesia (depending on availability)

    DNB Courses:

You have a good chance of securing DNB seats in Kerala, including:

  • DNB Anesthesia
  • DNB Radiology
  • DNB Pediatrics
  • DNB General Medicine
  • DNB Orthopedics

    Strategy:

  • State Counseling: Participate in Kerala state counseling for MD/MS seats; you may have an advantage under state quotas.
  • DNB Counseling: Keep DNB programs as a strong option, as they offer a broad range of specialties with good career prospects.

    Mop-Up Rounds:

  • Stay Engaged: Participate in all rounds, including mop-up rounds, as seats can become available later.

aiq 60000 sc quota possibility for MD Opthalmology

Abhishek 27th Aug, 2024

Hi there,

Hope you are doing fine.

With an All India Rank of 60000 in NEET PG and being under the SC quota, the chances of securing a seat in MD Ophthalmology can be quite challenging but not entirely impossible. Generally  MD Ophthalmology is a highly sought after specialization and the cut off ranks for government medical colleges especially under the SC quota, are usually lower due to the competitive nature of the field.

For SC category candidates, the cutoffs are generally more lenient compared to the general category, but a rank of 60000 is still relatively high for such a competitive specialty. Your chances would be higher for seats in private medical colleges or deemed universities where the cutoffs might be less stringent.

You can actively take participate in the counseling process and explore all the available options and also take part in the state level counselling also.

Hope this resolves your query.

i got 49972 rank in neet pg2024. I am interested in MD Gen medicine, Emergency medicine, pediatrics.

Abhishek 27th Aug, 2024

Hi there,

Hope you are doing fine.

With an All India Rank of 49972 in NEET PG the chances of securing a seat in any government medical college in the above mentioned fields will depend on a variety of factors like the previous year cutoff, the opening and closing rank, the number of seats available and many more.

You can check the previous year cutoff by visiting the official website of the examination authority and then checking the required details.  Your chances would be higher for seats in private medical colleges or deemed universities where the cutoffs might be less stringent.

Hope this resolves your query.

if i clear ssc jht exam but lets say I dont have my diploma degree during the selection process as my diploma hasnt been completed and i will get it after 7-8 months. will i still be eligible?

Abhishek 27th Aug, 2024

Hi there,

Hope you are doing fine.

If you have cleared the SSC JHT exam but do not have your diploma degree at the time of the selection process you may face challenges with your eligibility for appointment. Typically SSC and similar examination boards require candidates to have completed their educational qualifications by the time of the document verification process.

In most of the cases the final selection and appointment are dependent on the submission of all required documents including the proof of educational qualifications. If you are unable to provide your diploma during the selection process due to its pending status  it can affect your eligibility for the appointment.

However you can check if the SSC allows for a provisional acceptance or has a specific provision for candidates who are in the process of obtaining their degrees by visiting their official website and then get an idea that whether  you might be able to provide a certificate or an affidavit from your institution confirming that you have completed all necessary coursework and will receive your diploma shortly.

You can visit the SSC official website, contact them ,read the guidelines and brochures carefully to get clarity on your condition.

Hope this resolves your query.

neet pg my rank 55450 plese all India md general seets

kumardurgesh1802 27th Aug, 2024

Hello there,

With a rank of 55,450 in NEET PG, getting an MD seat in popular clinical branches like General Medicine, Pediatrics, or Radiology in top government colleges is unlikely. However, you might have a chance at less competitive branches or in private colleges.

Possible MD Options:

  • MD in Community Medicine
  • MD in Pharmacology
  • MD in Microbiology
  • MD in Pathology

    Suggestions:

  • Private Colleges: Consider private institutions, though fees will be higher.

  • DNB Courses: Look into Diplomate of National Board (DNB) programs, which are equivalent to MD/MS.

  • State Counseling: Some states may offer seats in semi-government or private colleges with your rank.

Participate actively in all counseling rounds, including mop-up rounds, to explore all available options.
