UPSEE ke exam ke liye Kitni seaten hoti hain

Jefferson 19th Oct, 2024

Greetings from Careers360!

Thank you for your question about the number of seats available through the UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) exam .

The exact number of seats can vary from year to year, as it depends on factors like the number of participating institutions and any changes in seat allocation. Generally, UPSEE offers a substantial number of seats across various engineering and technical programs in Uttar Pradesh.

To give you a more precise answer, it would be best to check the official UPSEE website or the latest information bulletin. These sources provide the most up-to-date and accurate information regarding seat distribution across different branches and colleges.

It's worth noting that the number of seats can differ significantly between popular and less sought-after branches. For instance, branches like Computer Science and Engineering typically have more seats compared to some specialized fields.

If you're preparing for UPSEE, I'd recommend focusing on your exam preparation rather than worrying too much about the exact seat count. A good rank in the exam will give you more options during the counseling process.

For the most current and detailed information about UPSEE seats, please visit our Careers360 website. We regularly update our pages with the latest data and insights about various entrance exams, including UPSEE.

Is there anything else you'd like to know about UPSEE or engineering admissions in Uttar Pradesh?

for mhtcet other than domicile certificate of Kashmir migrant are their any other documents ? also how is the cap counselling process can we only use one score card either jee or mhtcet , or do we have to use both score and if we can use both score card in counselling like how is the process?

kumardurgesh1802 18th Oct, 2024

Hello Lucky,

For MHT-CET as a Kashmir migrant , you typically need the following documents in addition to the domicile certificate :

  1. Migration Certificate : Proof of being a migrant from the Kashmir Valley.
  2. Identity Proof : Such as an Aadhar card or passport.
  3. Marksheet : Your Class 12 mark sheet or equivalent.
  4. Caste Certificate : If applicable, for any reserved category benefits.
  5. Passport-sized Photographs : Usually required for the application process.

    CAP Counseling Process

  6. Score Card Submission : In the CAP (Centralized Admission Process) for MHT-CET, you generally have to submit your MHT-CET score . If you're also appearing for JEE Main , you can submit that score as well, but you need to check specific instructions from the Maharashtra CET cell regarding which score will be considered for admission.

  7. Single or Multiple Score Cards : You can use either your MHT-CET score or your JEE Main score for admissions, depending on the course and college preferences. Some colleges may accept both scores, but you need to confirm that from the official guidelines.

  8. Merit List : Based on your submitted scores, a merit list will be prepared for admissions.

  9. Choice Filling : After the merit list is announced, you can fill in your choices for colleges and courses based on your score.

  10. Seat Allotment : You’ll be allotted a seat based on your merit rank and the preferences you filled in.

  11. Reporting to College : After allotment, you'll need to report to the college for document verification and payment of fees.

Make sure to check the official MHT-CET website or the Maharashtra CET cell for the most accurate and updated information regarding documentation and the counseling process.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Im a Lateral entry student who completed diploma after 10th STD. Im trying to fill out Scholarship form. But every form asks 12 STD marks which i didnt study. Cant leave it blank or type "Not applicable", website is not allowing. How should i proceed for getting Successful scholarship

kumardurgesh1802 18th Oct, 2024

Hello Jinu,

As a lateral entry student who completed a diploma after the 10th standard, filling out scholarship forms can be tricky since most ask for 12th-grade marks. Here’s what you can do:

  1. Look for Diploma Equivalency: Some scholarship forms allow you to enter your diploma marks in place of 12th-grade marks since a diploma is considered equivalent in many cases. Check the form for any section where you can select "diploma" as your qualification.

  2. Contact Scholarship Helpdesk: Reach out to the helpline or support team of the scholarship website. They might provide an alternative solution or suggest how to fill the form correctly without 12th-standard marks.

  3. Attach an Explanation: Some forms have an option to upload additional documents. You can include a letter or affidavit explaining your lateral entry status and that you don’t have 12th-grade marks because you completed a diploma after the 10th.

  4. Alternative Approach: Try entering a default value like 0 or NA , and if the form accepts it, you can later clarify during document verification.

These steps should help you proceed with the scholarship application.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

I have done American high school diploma accredited by middle states association and have an AIU equivalence for the same. I had Bio and Chem advanced with Physics and English Higher as my core subjects? Will the advanced and higher in front of my subjects be an issue? What NEET code will I be?

Deepti Singh 17th Oct, 2024

Hello,

Aside from that, with the American High School Diploma of the Middle States Association accredited with advanced courses in Biology and Chemistry, as well as Higher-level Physics and English, is typically accepted throughout India for eligibility to the NEET exams, and it goes without saying that advanced higher-level designations do reflect a stronger mastery of the subjects. That should not be much of an issue.

You need to check the eligibility details as mandated by the National Testing Agency, or NTA for NEET eligibility. The international student is likely to fall under Code 02, if he happens to be an Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India, like OCI with foreign qualifications, for the NEET code.

Ensure that you have the Equivalence Certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). This needs to be done during the application process. It is always better to get the details directly from the NTA or as available in the NEET information bulletin for any updates in respect of your eligibility and code designation.

Hi I have category in NEET and my score is 360 can I get BDS set in mop up round? Atleast for 1 lakh per year

Prachi Kumari 17th Oct, 2024

Hello Akshay,

With a score of 360, your chances of securing a seat in the mop-up round for BDS in private dental colleges appear feasible, particularly in states like Karnataka and Maharashtra, where the cutoffs are lower. While you may not secure a government college seat, focusing on private colleges with fees around 1 lakh is a good strategy.

Here are some private dental colleges where you might have a chance of getting a BDS seat for approximately 1 lakh per year:

  1. KLE University, Belgaum, Karnataka:

    • Fee: Approximately 1.5 lakhs per year.

    • Previous Year Cutoff: Around 320-350.

  2. Yenepoya University, Mangalore:

    • Fee: Approximately 1.2-1.5 lakhs per year.

    • Previous Year Cutoff: About 300-350.

  3. Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College, Pune:

    • Fee: Roughly 1.2-1.5 lakhs per year.

    • Previous Year Cutoff: Approximately 350-370.

  4. Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai:

    • Fee: Approximately 1.5 lakhs per year.

    • Previous Year Cutoff: Around 350.

  5. Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore:

    • Fee: About 1.5-2 lakhs per year.

    • Previous Year Cutoff: Generally above 370, but some seats might be available in mop-up round.

  6. Chettinad Dental College, Tamil Nadu:

    • Fee: Approximately 1 lakh per year.

    • Previous Year Cutoff: Around 320-350.

Hope it helps !
