My NEET PG 2024 AIR is 5569. What will be my Karnataka state ranking?

Prachi Kumari 18th Oct, 2024

Hello,

Congratulations on your NEET PG 2024 All India Rank (AIR) of 5569!

While there isn't an exact formula to determine your Karnataka state rank from your All India Rank, it typically depends on factors such as:

- Number of candidates from Karnataka: The state rank is influenced by how many candidates from Karnataka scored better than you.

- State reservation policies : Categories like OBC, SC, ST, etc., may also affect the rankings.

However, based on trends from previous years, a general approximation is that the Karnataka state rank is typically higher than the All India Rank due to fewer candidates competing from the state. Your state rank could be around 800–1000 or higher, but this is just an estimate and could vary depending on this year's applicant pool.

For an accurate rank, it’s best to wait for the state counseling authorities to release the official merit list.

Hope it helps !

My NEET PG 2024 AIR is 5569. What will be my Karnataka state ranking?

kumardurgesh1802 21st Oct, 2024

Hello there,

Your All India Rank (AIR) of 5569 in NEET PG 2024 will likely translate to a Karnataka state rank that could be significantly better, as state ranks are generally more favorable due to a smaller candidate pool.

While the exact state rank can vary each year based on the performance of candidates within the state, it’s reasonable to estimate that your Karnataka state rank could be in the range of 2000 to 3000 .

To get the precise state rank, you can check with the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) or the official NEET PG counseling authorities once they release the state rank list.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

my AIR is 5569. what will be my Karnataka state ranking.

Jefferson 10th Sep, 2024

Hello there!
Your Karnataka state ranking will likely be higher than your All India Rank (AIR) since the pool of candidates is smaller. However, predicting the exact state rank can be tricky without knowing the number of candidates from Karnataka who appeared for the exam and how competitive the scores are within the state. Based on trends, your state rank could potentially be within the top few thousand, but it depends on a lot of factors like how others have performed.

If you have a specific exam or category in mind, I could give you a more accurate estimate!

i give my compartment exam in my chemistry and i got 23/70 which is passing marks but my result show as xxxx so Im just confused like Im pass or fail if Im pass so it necessary to give improvement exam of chem in nxt year? or i skip tha improvement and preparing for my neet?

Jefferson 10th Sep, 2024

Hey! First off, congrats on clearing your compartment exam, because 23/70 is the passing mark, so you should be good. Now, about the "xxxx" on your result—sometimes that's just a placeholder when the system hasn't fully updated, or there’s some technical issue. It might be a good idea to reach out to your school or board to get clarity on that.

As for whether you should take the improvement exam next year, it really depends on your comfort level with chemistry and your NEET prep. If you feel confident in covering everything for NEET without needing to improve your board marks, you can skip it. But if you think improving your score might give you an extra edge or make you feel more secure, it could be worth considering.

Hope this helps, and best of luck with NEET prep!

i have not done choise filling in round 2 what can be done next??

Prachi Kumari 10th Sep, 2024

Hello,

If you missed choice filling in Round 2 of a counseling process, you can still participate in subsequent rounds if applicable. Keep an eye on official notifications for Round 3 or special rounds like spot counseling. You may have to accept the allotted seat from Round 1 or wait for a later round to fill your choices. Check if there's an option for "auto-upgradation" if you were allotted a seat in Round 1, or if you can re-enter your choices in the next available round. Stay updated on deadlines and rules for future rounds to avoid missing out again.

Hope it helps !

with 45% in 12th+ 450 neet mark and belong to st category which government medical college can I admission

Jefferson 10th Sep, 2024

Hey there!

With 45% in your 12th and 450 marks in NEET, along with your ST category, you’ve got a decent shot at securing a seat in a government medical college. Since you're from the ST category, you benefit from reserved seats, and the cut-off is generally lower than for other categories.

The exact college you can get into will depend on your state’s specific quota and the number of seats available. Typically, colleges in states like Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and even some northeastern states have slightly lower cutoffs for ST candidates. You should check the previous year’s cutoffs for your state or the All India Quota (AIQ) to get a clearer idea.

Good luck with your admissions!
