To gain admission to DAV School in Class 11 as a PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology) student, follow these steps:

1. **Eligibility**: Ensure you meet the basic eligibility criteria, which typically include a minimum percentage in Class 10 exams. For science streams, most DAV schools require at least 75%-85% in subjects like Mathematics and Science. Each branch may have its own cutoff.

2. **Application Process**:

- Visit the official website of the DAV school you are interested in or visit the school premises.

- Obtain the admission form, either online or from the school’s office.

- Fill out the form with accurate personal details, marks obtained in Class 10, and stream preference (PCMB).

iift kakinada college entrance exam

Sajal Trivedi 10th Sep, 2024

Hello aspirant,

On behalf of the institute, the National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the IIFT exam. NTA's only responsibility is to administer the test and prepare the results. The admissions committee chooses which prospects to admit. The exam is comparable to other MBA admission examinations offered in India. The Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness sections comprise the IIFT question paper. The IIFT exam lasts for two hours. Foreign, NRI, and PIO candidates are accepted for admission to IIFT based on their GMAT results.

Thank you

what is the difference between Self finance and Regular? will I not get fee reimbursement if I get into an MBA college that is of self finance?

Hridaya Rao 17th Sep, 2024
Hello there,
The primary difference between self-financed and regular courses lies in funding and management:

1. Regular Course: Funded by the government.
Typically lower fees as the institution receives financial aid from the government to subsidize the cost.
Available in government and public universities.
2. Self-financed Course:
Not funded by the government, so institutions charge higher fees to cover operational costs.
Generally offered by private or self-financed public institutions.

Fee Reimbursement:

Eligibility for fee reimbursement depends on the specific state government policies and the type of scholarship you are applying for. In some states, self-financed colleges and courses may not offer full or any reimbursement, while in others, the government may provide financial assistance depending on your category (like SC/ST/OBC, income level, etc.). You should check the specific fee reimbursement policy of the government or scholarship programs in your state to confirm whether self-financed MBA courses are covered.

Hope it helps, Good luck!

i got a rank if 862 with BC-C, can I expect a seat in Osmania University for MBA.? #tsicet

monag2673 9th Sep, 2024

With a rank of 862 and belonging to the BC-C category in TS ICET (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test), you have a strong chance of securing a seat in the MBA program at Osmania University (OU), Hyderabad.

### Key Factors:

1. **Category and Reservation**: Since you fall under the BC-C category, you benefit from reservation policies, which increase your chances of admission compared to the general category. Osmania University has reserved seats for various categories, and a rank within the top 1000 typically stands a good chance.

2. **Previous Cutoffs**: In recent years, Osmania University’s MBA cutoffs for the BC-C category have been higher than general category cutoffs, but a rank around 862 is competitive. The exact cutoff can vary slightly depending on factors like the number of applicants, seat availability, and reservation quotas.

3. **Counseling Process**: Attend the TS ICET counseling process, where seat allocation happens based on rank, category, and preferences. Make sure to list Osmania University as your top preference during counseling.

4. **Other Factors**: Keep your documents ready for verification and ensure timely participation in the counseling rounds to secure your seat.

Overall, with your rank and category, your chances of getting into Osmania University for an MBA are favorable.
