i have done my 10th and 12th from wb but neither I have a plot or house there nor i have aadhar card having address proof of wb . can i have a domicile certificate of wb ??

Ishita 5th Sep, 2024

Hello Aspirant

Yes, you can still apply for a domicile certificate of West Bengal even if you don't have a plot, house, or Aadhaar card with a West Bengal address. You will need to provide a birth certificate issued in West Bengal. Your 10th and 12th certificates from West Bengal schools will also be required.

While an Aadhaar card with a West Bengal address is preferred, you might be able to provide alternative proof of residence, such as:

  • Rent agreement for a place in West Bengal
  • Utility bills (electricity, water, gas) for a West Bengal address
  • Affidavit from a local resident stating your long-term residence in West Bengal

If you are a minor, your parents' domicile certificate can also be considered.

Hope this helps

Im 16 yrs old, and in my state there is minimum 18 yrs age criteria for applying for obc ncl certificate. How can I procure th category certificate of Central level acceptance? Its required for applying to various competitive exams.

itsprashil6260 5th Sep, 2024

Hey there I am glad to help you out, i hope this helps you

If you're 16 and need an OBC NCL certificate for central-level competitive exams where the minimum age for applying for the certificate is 18, here are a few steps you can take:

1. Contact the Exam Authority:

- Inquire About Exceptions: Contact the admissions or examination department of the central government agency conducting the exam. Explain your situation and ask if there are any provisions for minors. They might provide alternative solutions or accept documents under special conditions.

2. Obtain the Certificate Through Your Parent(s):

- Father’s or Mother’s Certificate: If your parent is an OBC, you can obtain a certificate from the competent authority on their behalf. Some competitive exams may accept this certificate as long as it is issued by a valid authority and meets their requirements.

3. Seek Special Provisions from State Authorities:

- Request for Special Consideration:** In some cases, state authorities may provide a certificate under special circumstances or for specific purposes like educational or competitive exams. Reach out to the state welfare department or the office issuing the certificates and explain your need for the certificate at a younger age.

can i change subject stream in private candidate from after fail in class 12 science stream

itsprashil6260 5th Sep, 2024

If you happen to be a private candidate and failed in Class 12 Science stream, you can always opt for a different subject stream. However this comes with important considerations:

1. Board regulations needs to be checked – Different boards have specific regulations regarding changing streams. You need to know the procedures for stream changes depending on your particular board (for instance CBSE, ICSE or State Boards).

2. Approach the school or board office – Contact board office or school where last exam was taken to get precise guidance if you are a private candidate.

3. Select your new stream – Identify what stream you will be transferring to, for instance commerce, arts. You must ensure that you qualify with any prerequisites or subject requirement stipulated for the new stream.

4. Re-register as private candidate – The transitioning into the new stream may involve re-registering as a private candidate. Generally this includes filling out a new application form, paying applicable fees and providing some explanation for the change.

5. Update documentation – Ensure all your stream’s records are up to date by changing your subjects, books and starting over with the syllabus of your new stream.
