What are the lecture timings of FYJC and SYJC Science? is there too much pressure for science CET in this college?

Hridaya Rao 7th Sep, 2024
Hello Student,
The lecture timings for FYJC (First Year Junior College) and SYJC (Second Year Junior College) in science courses can vary depending on the specific college. Typically, classes run between 7 AM to 1 PM or 8 AM to 2 PM, but this can change based on the college schedule, extracurricular activities, and any extra coaching for entrance exams like the CET.

As for pressure in a CET college, it can be demanding for science students due to the need to balance regular studies with entrance exam preparations like MHT-CET, JEE, and NEET. The focus on covering both the board syllabus and entrance exam preparation creates a high workload. However, the intensity of pressure also depends on how well-organized a student is and the type of support provided by the college in managing both aspects.

Hope this information helps. All the best!

PGCET ranks are calculated based on the score secured in the MBA entrance exam. They do not include degree marks. They give ranking based on the marks on the entrance exam. If two people get the same ranking then they might include.you need to secure marks more than 50 to get good college of MCA through pgcet.according to last year pg CET your rank will be around 5k which is not good enough for mca courses previous years last rank was under 4k for MCA colleges.

what is the admission process fir me as a nepali student

Hridaya Rao 5th Sep, 2024
Hello there,
For Nepali students seeking admission in Indian institutions, the process varies depending on the level of education (undergraduate, postgraduate, etc.) and the specific institution or exam. Here's a general outline of the admission process for different levels:

1. Undergraduate Programs (Bachelors Degree)
Nepali students can apply to Indian universities through different channels:

Direct Admission: Many Indian universities allow international students, including Nepali students, to apply directly to their programs. The requirements typically include the completion of secondary education equivalent to Indias Class 12. Students may be required to submit:
Academic transcripts (10th and 12th grade).
Proof of nationality.
Passport or other relevant documents.
English language proficiency proof (if applicable).

Entrance Exams: Some competitive programs, especially in fields like engineering, medicine, and law, require students to qualify through national or university-specific entrance exams. Some common exams include:
NEET for medical programs.
JEE for engineering programs.
CLAT for law programs.
CUET for various central university admissions.

SAARC Quota: Nepali students may also benefit from reserved seats under the SAARC quota, available in some Indian universities.

2.Postgraduate Programs (Masters Degree)
For postgraduate studies, the process may involve:
Direct Application: Students can apply to universities directly with a bachelors degree equivalent to the Indian qualification.
Entrance Exams: Some programs, especially in engineering, management, and medicine, require entrance exams:
GATE for M.Tech/ME.
CAT/MAT for MBA.
NEET-PG for postgraduate medical courses.

3.Medical Studies (MBBS/BDS)
For medical programs in India, Nepali students must:
Qualify NEET: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is mandatory for medical admissions. Nepali students need to apply for NEET, qualify with a valid score, and meet the eligibility criteria for admission into Indian medical colleges.
SAARC Quota: Some medical seats are reserved under the SAARC quota, providing additional opportunities for Nepali students.

4.Documents Required
For most applications, Nepali students need to provide:
Academic transcripts (10th and 12th certificates for undergraduate, bachelors degree for postgraduate).
Birth certificate.
Passport or proof of nationality.
Proof of language proficiency (if required by the university).
Letter of recommendation, statement of purpose (for postgraduate applications).

5. Visa and Immigration
After receiving an admission offer, Nepali students need to apply for a student visa at the Indian Embassy in Nepal. Documents required for a visa typically include:
Admission letter from the university.
Proof of financial support.
Passport.
Recent photographs.

6. Scholarships and Financial Aid
Nepali students may apply for scholarships or financial aid under schemes such as:
ICCR Scholarships: The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) offers scholarships to students from Nepal for various courses.
SAARC Scholarships: Some institutions offer scholarships specifically for SAARC students.

Key Steps:
Research universities and courses.
Check eligibility criteria.
Apply for entrance exams (if required).
Submit the application to the institution.
Apply for a visa after securing admission.
