i have less than 50 percentile in neet pg can i apply in tamil nadu counselling 2024 whoch just opened

Kanishka kaushikii 5th Sep, 2024

Hello aspirant,

Yes, you can apply for Tamil Nadu NEET PG counseling 2024 even if you have less than 50 percentile.

The eligibility criteria for NEET PG counseling in Tamil Nadu typically require candidates to meet the minimum qualifying percentile set by the Medical Council of India (MCI). However, the state government may also have its own eligibility criteria.

Here's what you should do:

  1. Check the official notification: Refer to the official notification released by the Tamil Nadu Medical Council or the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education for the exact eligibility criteria and important dates.
  2. Verify your eligibility: Ensure that you meet all the eligibility criteria, including minimum qualifying percentile, category-wise cutoff (if applicable), and any other requirements.
  3. Apply online: If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for counseling online as per the schedule mentioned in the notification.

Note: While you may be eligible to apply, securing a seat depends on various factors, including your rank, category, and the number of available seats. It's advisable to consult with a counseling expert or refer to the official notification for more information.

in Karnataka with hk quota score 500 in GM we can get government seat

Prachi Kumari 18th Oct, 2024

Hello,

Based on previous year NEET cutoffs in Karnataka, here are the points for the HK (Hyderabad-Karnataka) quota with a score of 500 in General Merit (GM):

- Chances in Government Colleges: With 500 in GM, chances are moderate to low for top government medical colleges under HK quota.

- HK Quota Advantage: The 371J HK quota provides regional benefits, slightly lowering cutoff scores compared to open GM.

- Preferred Colleges: You may get into government colleges like Raichur, Bidar, or Gulbarga Medical College.

- Cutoffs Fluctuate: The cutoff varies yearly depending on competition and seat availability, so scores may vary.

You can use the college predictor tool to predict which college you can get based on your score or rank :- https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

Hope it helps!

which college is better KAP VISHWANATHAN MEDICAL COLLEGE Trichy or Chengalpattu medical College?

Kanishka kaushikii 5th Sep, 2024

Hello aspirant,

Choosing between these two colleges in Tamil Nadu depends on various factors. Both are reputable medical colleges, but each has its own strengths and weaknesses.

KAP Vishwanathan Medical College, Trichy:

  • Strengths: Government college, affiliated with Dr. MGR Medical University, attached to Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital, good research facilities.
  • Weaknesses: Relatively new, less well-known compared to Chengalpattu Medical College.

Chengalpattu Medical College:

  • Strengths: One of the oldest medical colleges in Tamil Nadu, excellent infrastructure and labs, good clinical training opportunities.
  • Weaknesses: Might have a higher cost of living due to its proximity to Chennai.

To decide which is better for you, consider:

  • Your interests: What field do you want to specialize in?
  • Your budget: How much can you afford to spend?
  • Location: Where do you prefer to live?
  • College facilities: What are the library, labs, and hostel like?
  • Alumni feedback: Talk to former students for their opinions.

Ultimately, the best college for you is the one that aligns with your goals and preferences.

For more information, check:

  • The colleges' official websites
  • Alumni reviews
  • Medical counseling websites

However, certain relaxations might be granted in cases of medical issues or other valid reasons, but that typically requires approval from the school authorities.

i have ebc certificate but there is no evc caste selection option in neet registration window what to do

Kanishka kaushikii 6th Sep, 2024

Hello aspirant,

The absence of a specific EBC caste selection option in the NEET registration window could be due to a few reasons:

  1. State-Specific Classification: EBC (Economically Weaker Section) is a category often defined and implemented at the state level. The NEET registration process might not include this specific category at the national level.
  2. Category Grouping: The NEET registration form might group various categories under a broader umbrella, such as OBC (Other Backward Class), which could include EBC.
  3. Technical Glitch: There could be a temporary technical issue or error in the registration window.

Here are the steps you can take:

  1. Contact NEET Helpline: Reach out to the NEET helpline or support team to inquire about the correct category selection option. They can provide specific guidance based on your state and eligibility.
  2. Check State-Specific Guidelines: Review the state-specific guidelines for NEET registration and counseling. There might be specific instructions or clarifications regarding EBC category selection.
  3. Consult with Education Counselor: Seek advice from an education counselor or expert who is familiar with NEET admissions and state-specific regulations. They can help you navigate the process and ensure you choose the correct category.

It's important to accurately select the appropriate category to avail the benefits and reservations associated with it. By following these steps, you can clarify any doubts and make an informed decision during the NEET registration process.

I hope this information helps you.
