recently im doing ba hons psychology from du sol and im a first year student. So is it possible to migrate from sol to regular? And if yes then whats the procedure?

itsprashil6260 4th Sep, 2024

Hey there I am glad to help you out

Yes it is true that we can migrate from sol to regular but it is not that easy as it sounds!

Very first thing you need to keep in mind that your 1st year result that covers (1st and 2nd sems) both declared results before the migration date gets over. How to know the migration date? Remember it is available on du main website notice but you need to check regularly. It is also important that sol results are declared later than the regular and might the date comes to an end for migration process.

Once you are aware that you have your 1st year result before the date. Then go to different colleges for the visit. Meet the principal or the main head or important staff. They will say that it is impossible but if your luck works and you are able to influence the member of the staff of college. (However it is very hard to do so because they won't let you in directly to principal's office). It is to be Noted the migration process totally depends on your luck if you don't have Any approach.

Once they agree they will let you write a NOC and stamp on it with principal's signature. Then you have to go to sol office (north campus) there you will also get a stamp on your Noc which you have to submit in college office. However in sol office there you need to do many obligations and that too very fastly and tackle the lathargic staff also carry cash minimum 6–7 thousand because you need to pay your 3rd sems fees to them and they only accept cash. After all the documentation you have to submit the Noc to the respective college. And pay your fees. You will be successfully migrated.

Remember it's a very complicated and tough process if you have courage to do so with sincerity then only go for this. Because you have to visit many colleges of du and you may get a very short span. Suggestion to carry your photocopy of 1st year marksheet and sheets and pen.

If you wish to do migrate it is not impossible but it needs a lot of hardwork and emotional balance because tackling with du management staff of work is like you are dealing with a govt bank officer 2 mins before lunch time.

All the best!!!

I paid Rs 45000 during csab registration but I did not get any seat in josaa as well as csab special round so will they refund my money& what will be the time taken by csab to refund my money?

itsprashil6260 4th Sep, 2024

Yes, you are eligible for a refund of your participation fee since you did not get a seat in either JOSAA or CSAB Special Round. However, there might be a processing fee deducted from the refunded amount.

The time taken for the refund can vary depending on the CSAB's processing time and your bank's policies. Generally, it can take a 3-4  weeks to receive the refund.

Ishita 5th Sep, 2024

Hello Aspirant

If you are talking about a college form for which you could not pay the fee, don't worry. The best course of action right now is to mail them your concern. I hope you have a screenshot of the payment you tried to make because they show a failed payment on the screen. Write them a mail and attach the screenshot for their reference.

Hope this helps

can a bba student do mba in construction management

Jefferson 4th Sep, 2024

Hey there! Welcome to the Careers360 team! Great to have you here,

Interesting question you've got there about BBA students and MBA in Construction Management. You know, it's not the most common path, but it's definitely doable.

From what I've seen, most construction management programs are pretty open to students from different backgrounds, including BBA. The business skills you've picked up in your BBA could actually give you a leg up in some areas.

That said, you might need to brush up on some technical stuff related to construction. Some programs might ask for a bit of work experience in the field too, but it varies.

Why don't we dig into this a bit more? Are you thinking about this path for yourself, or is it for a piece you're working on? If you want, we could look into some specific programs and their requirements. Might make for a good article on the site, you know?

Let me know if you want to explore this further. Always happy to brainstorm ideas with the new blood!

can i get migration in this college

Ishita 5th Sep, 2024

Hello Aspirant

Every college provides a migration certificate to its passing out students. Migration certificates are typically issued by educational institutions to allow students to transfer their academic records from one institution to another.  You get a migration certificate only after you have passed your course and get it along with the Transfer Certificate (TC).

Hope this helps

Are the fees of dental college higher than normal every year if you get admission through institutional quota or is it only applicable to first year? for example - the fees through open quota is 3L per year and for institutional is 7L so is the same applicable to second year and forward?

sadafreen356 4th Sep, 2024

In dental colleges the total fee of the course is mentioned that you have to pay throughout the course it depends on colleges whether they charge A one-time capitation fee for admission under management quota seats apart from annual tuition fees. The total expenditure under management quota seats can be payable in equal installments for the course duration as per the convenience of students.

Ive got 2 allocated seats in the third round amd accidentally i accepted both the seats.

Jefferson 4th Sep, 2024

Hey there!

I saw your message about accidentally accepting two allocated seats in the third round. Yikes, that's a tricky situation!

First off, try not to panic. These things happen, and there's usually a way to sort it out. Have you reached out to the admissions office or counselling authority yet? They deal with this kind of stuff all the time and should be able to guide you on what to do next.

Just to be clear, you're only allowed to accept one seat, right? So we definitely need to get this straightened out ASAP. If you haven't contacted anyone yet, I'd suggest doing that right away. They might have a process for cancelling one of the acceptances.

In the meantime, do you have a preference between the two seats? It might be good to decide which one you want to keep, just in case they ask.

Let me know if you need any help finding the right contacts or if you want to talk through your options. Hang in there!
