cateageory wise distributed seats in iit

vaibhavi bhalsod 30th Aug, 2024

hello

Here’s a general overview of how seats are typically distributed:

General (UR) : This category usually has the highest number of seats, often around 50% of the total seats available in each IIT.

OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) : Approximately 27% of the total seats are reserved for OBC candidates. This reservation is meant for candidates from non-creamy layers within the OBC category.

SC : Around 15% of the total seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates. This reservation is meant for candidates who belong to the SC category.

PwD : There is also a horizontal reservation for Persons with Disabilities. Typically, 5% of the total seats are reserved for PwD candidates across all categories.

EWS : As of recent updates, 10% of the total seats are reserved for candidates from the Economically Weaker Sections of the General category.

Foreign Nationals: A certain number of seats are reserved for foreign nationals or NRIs (Non-Resident Indians) in some IITs.

meri all india ra k 76400 he mujhe obsgyne milne ke kitne chance he madhyapradesh ke private college me

Prachi Kumari 30th Aug, 2024

Hello,

All India Rank (AIR) 76400 ke saath Madhya Pradesh ke private medical colleges me Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) branch milne ke chances thode mushkil ho sakte hain, lekin completely impossible nahi hai.

Private colleges mein cutoff rank har saal thoda badal sakta hai depending on various factors like seat availability, category-wise reservations, and competition. Typically, OBGYN branch ki demand zyada hoti hai, isliye iski cutoff rank comparatively lower (better rank) hoti hai.

Agar aap OBC, SC, ST, ya EWS category se belong karte hain, toh aapke chances thode behtar ho sakte hain as compared to General category. Lekin agar aap General category se hain, toh chances kam ho sakte hain.

Hope it helps !

Sajal Trivedi 30th Aug, 2024

Hello aspirant,

BSc Nursing full form is Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Candidates must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) subjects in order to be eligible to enroll in a BSc Nursing program. Class 12 scores are the primary criterion for admission to several central and state universities' BSc Nursing programs. However, scores from other well-known exams, such as the KCET, NEET, CUET, AIIMS Paramedical, IPU CET, BVP CET, AIIMS Nursing, PGIMER Nursing, etc., are also taken into account for admission to BSc Nursing programs. The typical cost of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is INR 8,500–1.3 Lakh. JIPMER Puducherry, Amity University (Gurugram), Armed Forces Medical College, Galgotias University, and other well-known universities are among those that provide BSc Nursing programs.

sadafreen356 30th Aug, 2024

Yes it is completely fine if you have written finance in discipline as you come from finance background they ask you this because Some business schools may prefer candidates from certain academic backgrounds (like engineering, commerce, or science) for specific programs, but this varies by institution.just to know the area of specialization b school consider application.

I have filled the rrb form where i given my name as per my 10th marksheet following sequence like (Surname) (My name) (Fathers Name) but my other documents like pan, adhar, passport have my name as ( My name ) (Fathers name) ( Surname) . Do i face any problem in RRB further stages. I dont have spelling mistakes in my name only position of names are diff in some documents.please help

sai raja 1st Sep, 2024

It seems like you're concerned about the sequence of your name as mentioned in your RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) application form compared to how it appears in other documents like your PAN card, Aadhaar card, and passport. You've provided your name in the RRB form as per your 10th marksheet in the sequence of surname, your name, father's name , but your other documents have your name in the sequence of your name, father's name, surname .

Possible Issues and Solutions:

  1. Name Sequence Difference:

    • Issue: The sequence of names being different across documents could potentially cause confusion during document verification stages.
    • Solution: Carry your 10th marksheet, as it is the primary document that most boards and institutions consider for name verification. You can explain that the name in the RRB form follows the sequence mentioned in your 10th marksheet.
  2. No Spelling Mistakes:

    • Issue: Since there are no spelling mistakes, the primary concern is only with the sequence.
    • Solution: Ensure that all your documents (PAN, Aadhaar, Passport, etc.) are ready to be presented during verification. It’s advisable to carry an affidavit stating that the different name sequences in your documents refer to the same person.
  3. Clarification from RRB:

    • Issue: Official rules may vary depending on the specifics of the job or the RRB region.
    • Solution: Consider reaching out to the RRB helpdesk for confirmation on whether the sequence difference might pose an issue and what steps you can take to rectify it if necessary.
  4. Document Consistency:

    • Issue: Discrepancies in the name across different documents can sometimes be questioned during the verification process.
    • Solution: If possible, consider updating the sequence of your name in your other documents (PAN, Aadhaar, etc.) to match your 10th marksheet. This would ensure uniformity across all your documents.

Final Advice:

  • Keep copies of all relevant documents handy during the verification process.
  • If you're concerned, you can create an affidavit that clearly states the different name sequences refer to the same individual.
  • If any concerns arise during the verification, politely explain the situation and provide supporting documents.

If you need help drafting an affidavit or any further guidance, feel free to ask
