The KCET last cutoff rank is 2100 for 2AG category rank under this gives you a good chance of getting a seat in CSE or ISE in RVCE. However, it is not guaranteed, so it is important to have a backup plan.try to achieve more marks as you can because cutoff changes every year dont rely on last year cutoff it is just for idea which is not reliable.

If i join MCA, the course is online or offline what will be the fees criteria..?

Jefferson 20th Sep, 2024

Hello! Greetings from Careers360! It's great to hear you're considering joining an MCA program . The format of the course—whether online or offline—can vary by institution. Typically, both options are available at many colleges, each offering unique advantages.

Regarding the fee structure, it also differs significantly based on the college, location, and whether it's a government or private institution. Generally, government colleges may have lower fees compared to private ones. You can expect the fees to range anywhere from INR 20,000 to INR 1,50,000 per year.

I recommend checking with specific colleges for the most accurate and detailed information on their MCA program, including the mode of delivery and fee criteria. If you have any particular colleges in mind or need suggestions, feel free to ask!

Im priya.i was pursuing BCA 2nd year i want to do my MCA in aboard.but I was from middle class family there is no financial support.. then how can i go abroad?

itsprashil6260 7th Sep, 2024

Hey there I am glad to help you out i hope this helps you

I wish to clarify a few things first before I start answering your question.

MCA is a very India specific thing. This course will not be found anywhere else in the world but India.

You can although do a MS (Master of Science) in Computer Sciences abroad. MS is usually a 2 year course (but there are a couple of university’s in UK & Australia that offer a 1 Year MS also).

Also please note, that the eligibility requirement for the MS course will be 12+4 = 16 years of education. In your case, since you have done your BCA you have only 12+3 = 15 years of education. You will need to do 1 year of MCA or MSc to even be eligible for admission to MS courses abroad.

If you do manage to do that, then you will have the following to do’s

US Colleges

TOEFL - Test of english as a foreign Language - required for MS in USA

GRE - Graduate Record Exam - Computer Based aptitude test which has sections in Vocabulary, Quantitative & Analytical Essay.

UK & Australian Colleges

You will need to give the IELTS exam (its similar to TOEFL)

apply for Scholarships abroad in countries like UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, submitting your academic record right from SSC and upto BCA degree, and extra curricular activities like games, sports, debates, community service, blood donation, environmental protection etc, prizes, awards obtained etc. You will get the financial support based on your excellence of your biodata. Then you choose the university and the country for higher studies. You also apply for Passport and driving licences and keep them ready as they serve as additional supportive documents to further your chances to go abroad for higher studies.

MY AIR is 1018000 and in OBC its lied in 70k. I am intersted in taking General medicine for doing my MD. So, am I applicable to get the seat in government medical colleges with this rank. Kindly suggest

Jefferson 6th Sep, 2024

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out to us at Careers360. I hope you're doing well today.

Congratulations on your NEET rank! That's quite an achievement, and I'm sure you've worked hard for it. Let's take a look at your situation regarding MD General Medicine seats in government colleges.

With an All India Rank of 1,018,000 and an OBC category rank of 70,000, I'll be honest - it might be challenging to secure a seat for MD General Medicine in a government college. These seats are highly competitive, especially in the general category.

However, don't lose heart just yet! Your OBC rank of 70,000 definitely improves your chances. Here are a few suggestions:

1. Look into state quota seats if you haven't already. Sometimes, the cut-offs for state quotas can be more favourable.

2. Consider exploring other specializations that might have slightly lower cut-offs. You might find something equally interesting!

3. Keep an eye on the counselling process. Sometimes, seats open up in later rounds that weren't available initially.

4. It might be worth looking into private colleges as a backup option, just in case.

Remember, these are just general suggestions based on trends from previous years. The actual cut-offs can vary each year depending on various factors.

If you'd like, we could look into more specific data for your state or for particular colleges you're interested in. Just let me know, and I'd be happy to help you dig deeper into this.

Hang in there, and don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions. We're here to support you through this process!
