i have filled gender in neet form by mistake as boy and even after correction window opened its not changing can i still give neet exam without and issue

kumardurgesh1802 10th Mar, 2025

Hello there,

Yes, you can still give the NEET exam even if the gender is incorrect in the form. However, during the exam, your identity will be verified based on the photo ID (like Aadhaar card) you carry. If the gender mismatch causes any confusion during verification, you can explain the mistake to the exam officials. After the exam, you can request NTA to update the gender in your records if needed.

Want mbbs without neet plz kindly guide

Sajal Trivedi 11th Mar, 2025

Hello aspirant,

No, in India, you cannot pursue an MBBS without taking the NEET.  In India, NEET is the required entrance exam for admission to all medical schools.  You cannot enroll in a private or public medical college in India to pursue an MBBS if you have not passed the NEET.  You must have finished your secondary education with physics, chemistry, and biology in order to be eligible for NEET.

Thank you

In the candidates name field, the cyber cafes person only filled in the first name instead of the full name in NEET exam form 2025. (Im a girl) In the information bulletin, only the first name is shown in the form-filling process as an example on the page no. 136. Can I still take the exam?

kumardurgesh1802 10th Mar, 2025

Hello there,

Yes, you can still take the NEET 2025 exam if only your first name is filled in the application form. If your name matches the details on your ID proof, you should not face any issues during the exam. Also, since the information bulletin shows the first name as an example, it indicates that it’s acceptable. However, if you want to correct it, you can try during the correction window if it allows changes to the name field.

In neet application form I have uploaded my nativity certificate instead of adhaar card in address proof What i have to do

kumardurgesh1802 10th Mar, 2025

Hello Hema,

If you have uploaded your nativity certificate instead of your Aadhaar card in the NEET application form, you can try to correct it during the correction window if it allows changes to the address proof. If the correction window does not permit changes, there’s no need to worry as nativity certificates are generally considered valid for address proof. Just carry a valid ID proof (like Aadhaar card) to the exam center to avoid any issues.

Can I got addmission Bds in general category by obtaining qualifying marks

kumardurgesh1802 10th Mar, 2025

Hello Nikhil,

Yes, you can get admission to a BDS course under the general category by obtaining the NEET qualifying marks. However, getting a seat in a government or reputed private dental college usually requires a higher score than just the qualifying cutoff. The qualifying cutoff for the general category in NEET is around 50th percentile . For 2024, it was 137 marks . If your score is closer to the cutoff, you may have better chances in private or deemed universities rather than government colleges.
