hello ham bsc 3 year me hai bio se hai ham ham bca kar sakti hai ke nhi please help me

Kanishka kaushikii 23rd Aug, 2024

Hello aspirant,
You can definitely pursue a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) even if you have a BSc in Biology.

While a BSc in Biology focuses on the life sciences, BCA is a computer science-oriented degree. The transition might require some additional effort to learn programming and computer science concepts, but it's certainly feasible.

Here are some reasons why it's possible:

  • Bridging the gap: Many colleges and universities offer bridging courses or foundational programs to help students from non-computer science backgrounds transition into BCA programs.
  • Interest and motivation: If you have a genuine interest in computers and technology, and are willing to put in the effort, you can successfully complete a BCA program.
  • Skill development: BCA programs typically cover a wide range of topics, including programming, database management, web development, and software engineering. With dedication and practice, you can acquire these skills.

Some BCA courses might require a strong foundation in mathematics. If your BSc in Biology didn't involve extensive math, you might need to brush up on your math skills.

If you're considering a BCA, it's recommended to:

  • Research universities and colleges: Look for institutions that offer BCA programs with a focus on bridging the gap for students from non-computer science backgrounds.
  • Consult with academic advisors: Seek guidance from academic advisors or career counselors who can provide personalized advice based on your academic background and career aspirations.

I have done my diploma so I want admission lateral entry for B.tech then I want DAVV Indore so will you get it or not

kumardurgesh1802 22nd Aug, 2024

Hello there,

DAVV Indore (Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya) offers lateral entry for B.Tech programs, and you might have a chance of getting admission based on your diploma. However, guaranteeing admission isn't possible as it depends on several factors.

Here's what you can do to increase your chances:

Eligibility:

  • Check Eligibility Criteria: Visit the official DAVV website or contact the admissions office to verify if your diploma fulfills the eligibility criteria for lateral entry into the desired B.Tech program. Subjects in your diploma should  align with the B.Tech branch you're applying for.

  • Minimum Marks: Ensure your diploma marks meet the minimum requirement for lateral entry.

Admission Process:

  • Application Process: Monitor the DAVV website for application announcements. Apply online or offline within the stipulated timeframe.

  • Selection Process: DAVV might conduct an entrance exam or merit-based selection for lateral entry admissions. Prepare accordingly.

Availability:

  • Number of Seats: The number of lateral entry seats can be limited  compared to regular B.Tech admissions. Be prepared for competition.

  • Cut-off Marks: The previous year's cut-off marks for your specific diploma and B.Tech branch can give you an idea of your chances.

Recommendations:

  • Contact DAVV: Reach out to the admissions office at DAVV Indore for specific information on lateral entry admissions, eligibility criteria, and cut-off marks.

  • Alternative Options: Explore other colleges offering B.Tech lateral entry in Indore or other regions to broaden your options.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

sir mene ITI ke. d lateral entry se diploma kiya th architecture assistantship me kya Mera addmission b.arch me.ho skta h

sai raja 22nd Aug, 2024

If you've completed an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) course and then pursued a lateral entry into a Diploma in Architecture Assistantship, you may be eligible for admission to further studies, such as a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or related fields. However, specific eligibility criteria can vary depending on the institution and the course you wish to pursue.

Here are some general points to consider:

  1. Lateral Entry Admission : If you completed your diploma through lateral entry, you generally have the same rights and qualifications as those who completed the diploma via the regular entry. This means you should be eligible for further studies, provided you meet the other admission criteria.

  2. Eligibility for B.Arch : For admission to a B.Arch program, you generally need to have completed a 10+2 (with Mathematics as a compulsory subject) or a 3-year diploma recognized by the state or central government. You would also need to pass the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or another entrance exam specified by the institution.

  3. Admission to Other Degree Programs : If you're not looking to pursue a B.Arch but another degree or course related to architecture, the eligibility criteria will depend on the specific course and institution.

  4. Check with Institutions : It's crucial to check the specific admission requirements of the institutions you are interested in, as they may have their own criteria regarding lateral entry diploma holders.

If you are asking whether your diploma qualifies you for further admission or employment, it’s advisable to contact the admissions office of the specific institution or consult the official guidelines provided by the education board or university you're interested in.

I am doing BCA. I have 10th 67% marks in mathematics and in BCA 80% marks in mathematics. Am I eligible for MCA in this university Please replay 919693106298

monag2673 22nd Aug, 2024

Generally, yes, you should be eligible for MCA in most universities with 80% in BCA Math.

While specific eligibility criteria can vary between universities, the common requirement is a minimum of 60% or 70% aggregate marks in BCA, with a focus on mathematics.

Here's a breakdown of your eligibility:

  • BCA Math Score: Your 80% marks in BCA Mathematics are well above the minimum requirement, which is a positive factor.
  • 10th Math Score: Although your 10th Math score is slightly lower, it's likely not a major hurdle. Many universities prioritize your performance in BCA, especially in subjects related to the MCA course.

However, it's crucial to check the exact eligibility criteria of the specific university you're interested in. Some institutions might have additional requirements like a minimum aggregate score in BCA, specific subject combinations, or entrance exam scores.

To confirm your eligibility:

  1. Visit the university's official website: Look for the MCA program's admission criteria section.
  2. Contact the admissions office: If you have any doubts, reach out to the admissions department for clarification.

By following these steps, you can ensure that you meet all the necessary requirements for MCA admission.
