i got 6599 rank in ap eamcet and i belong to sc category will i be able to get free seat for bsc.agriculture

kumardurgesh1802 13th Sep, 2024

Hello Madhuri,

With a rank of 6599 in AP EAMCET and belonging to the SC category , you have a good chance of securing a seat in B.Sc. Agriculture in some of the government and private colleges in Andhra Pradesh. However, securing a free seat (full fee reimbursement) depends on the following factors:

  1. Category Reservations : Since you belong to the SC category, there are reserved seats in many agricultural colleges that increase your chances.

  2. College Choice : Government colleges have a higher chance of offering fee reimbursement compared to private institutions. You should aim for government agricultural colleges or colleges affiliated with ANGRAU (Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University) .

  3. Counseling : Ensure that you actively participate in the counseling process and prioritize government colleges for a better chance of getting a seat with fee reimbursement.

I would recommend you to use AP EAMCET college predictor tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.

IIIT A mba is good or not and placement record is not

Hridaya Rao 13th Sep, 2024
Hello there,
IIIT Allahabad (IIIT A) offers an MBA program with a focus on IT and management, making it a good choice for those interested in the intersection of technology and business. The institute is well-regarded for its technical programs, and the MBA program benefits from its strong industry connections and academic reputation.

However, placements for the MBA program may not be as strong as those for its engineering courses. The average package in recent years has been around 5-6 LPA, with higher packages for top performers. Companies in IT, consulting, and management often participate in the placements, but the number of core management companies might be fewer compared to traditional business schools.

If you are looking for an MBA with a strong focus on IT management and are comfortable with these placement statistics, IIIT A can be a good option. Otherwise, exploring other institutes with a broader range of placement opportunities may

Hope it helps. Good luck!

Hey wanted to ask if i belong to the obc category, will state issued reservation form be enough or i need a central issued form for clat? And my state reservation form was made in 2022 so i think it works for 3 years, so can i submit that only or should i make central issued form?

Kanishka kaushikii 14th Sep, 2024

For CLAT, a central government issued reservation form is typically required. This is because CLAT is a national-level entrance exam and follows specific guidelines for reservation categories.

While a state-issued reservation form might be accepted in some cases, it's highly recommended to obtain a central government issued form to avoid any potential issues. This form can usually be obtained from the respective state's social justice department or a designated government office.

Regarding the validity of your 2022 state reservation form: While it might be valid for three years in some contexts, it's best to check the specific requirements for CLAT. The eligibility criteria and document requirements can change from year to year. It's advisable to obtain a new central government issued reservation form for the current year to ensure that your application meets all the necessary criteria.

For more information about CLAT you can go through the link attached below.

kumardurgesh1802 13th Sep, 2024

Hello student,

Transferring from IGEC Sagar to SGSITS Indore or JEC Jabalpur involves several considerations, including the CGPA required, availability of seats, and the specific transfer policies of each institution. Here’s a general overview:

1. CGPA Requirement

  • SGSITS Indore : The CGPA required can vary based on the academic performance of the current students and the availability of seats. Typically, a CGPA of 8.0 or higher is considered competitive for inter-college transfers.

  • JEC Jabalpur : Similarly, a CGPA of around 8.0 or above is often required, but this can vary based on the specific branch and availability.

    2. Transfer Process
  1. Check Transfer Policies : Review the transfer policies of SGSITS Indore and JEC Jabalpur. Each institution has its own criteria and process for accepting transfer students.

  2. Prepare Required Documents : Commonly required documents include:

    • Transfer application form
    • Academic transcripts
    • Certificate of good conduct from IGEC Sagar
    • Course syllabi and details for credit transfer evaluation

  3. Apply for Transfer :

    • SGSITS Indore : Contact the admissions office or the registrar’s office for detailed instructions. Submit the application form along with required documents.

    • JEC Jabalpur : Similarly, reach out to the admissions or registrar’s office to understand the application procedure and deadlines.

  4. Credit Transfer Evaluation : Both institutions will review your academic records and course syllabi to determine which credits can be transferred.

  5. Admission Decision : Based on the evaluation, the institutions will decide if they can accommodate you and inform you of the next steps.

Note : Transfer policies can be highly variable and may change, so it's crucial to get the most current and specific information from the institutions directly.
