Ritesh Pradhan 18th Dec, 2024

After a Diploma in Architecture , you generally need to appear for NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 to get into B.Arch. Lateral entry is not commonly available for B.Arch, so you would need to start from the first year . Some states or private universities may offer flexible admission options or credit transfers based on your diploma coursework.

Hello Divyanshi,

I understand your predicament, and it's encouraging to see that you're determined to pursue a successful professional career while coming from a lower-middle-class household. Because you are in your first year of BCA and are creative, you have a wide range of employment options that match both your artistic interests and your technical knowledge.

Here are few options you can look into-

1.Web Development or App Development

Because you are pursuing BCA (which often entails learning programming languages and computer science principles), web or app development could be an excellent choice. It allows you to express your ideas by developing websites or mobile applications.

2. UI/UX Design

If you appreciate building interfaces and creating user-friendly experiences, UI/UX design could be a good fit. Understanding user behaviour and building user-friendly websites and apps are key.

3.  Graphic Designing

If you enjoy visual arts, graphic design could be a good fit. This involves creating logos, social media graphics, brochures, and other visual products for brands. You can learn about Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and CorelDRAW create a portfolio of your designs and begin freelancing or applying for internships.

4. Digital Marketing

If you're interested in social media, branding, and content development, digital marketing may be a good fit. This industry is continuously expanding, and you can use your creativity to generate content, run campaigns, and build online businesses.

5. Data Science/ Machine learning

If you enjoy analytics, problem solving, and statistics, consider a career in data science or machine learning. These disciplines demand strong technical abilities, but they also provide high-paying and future-proof professional prospects.

I am an Indian student all my schooling is from India but my board in 11 and 12 was American High School Diploma for which I have AIU equivalence as I have Punjab domicile due to birth and residence will I have to get equivalence from BFUHS for MBBS like NRI ? What NEET code am I ?

kumardurgesh1802 13th Dec, 2024

Hello there,

Since you have completed an American High School Diploma and have an AIU equivalence certificate for class 12, your situation for MBBS admission in India is as follows:

  1. Equivalence from BFUHS : If you're applying under the Punjab domicile quota and not as an NRI, you typically won’t require additional equivalence certification from BFUHS. The AIU equivalence certificate should suffice for meeting eligibility requirements. However, it's recommended to confirm this directly with BFUHS or through their admission brochure for clarity.

  2. NEET Qualification Code : Based on your education background, you fall under NEET Code 02 . This code applies to students who have completed 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board, which your AIU equivalence certificate confirms.

  3. NRI Status Clarification : You will only need equivalence from BFUHS if you plan to apply under the NRI category. As a Punjab domicile holder applying under the state quota, you don’t need to pursue this unless explicitly stated in the admission guidelines.

It’s best to keep all necessary documents, including your domicile and AIU equivalence certificate, ready for verification during the application or counseling process.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

I am IB student and i want take admission in Indian medical college does Indian medical college accept my high school diploma certificate or the markseet is needed?

Akanksha Mahendra Patil 13th Dec, 2024

For admission to Indian medical colleges, the key requirements include validating your educational qualifications and ensuring they align with the eligibility criteria set by the Medical Council of India (MCI), now overseen by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Here's a detailed response:

---

1. Acceptance of IB Diploma for Indian Medical Colleges

Yes, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma is accepted, but you must meet the following conditions:

You studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), and English as part of your IB curriculum.

You obtained the minimum percentage of marks required in PCB (usually 50% for General category; 40% for reserved categories).

2. Diploma vs. Marksheet

High School Diploma Certificate: While it proves you have completed your education, Indian colleges typically require detailed subject-wise marks for eligibility verification.

Marksheet/Transcript: This is mandatory because it provides:

Your grades or marks in specific subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English).

Confirmation that you meet the eligibility criteria for MBBS admissions.

Colleges use this document to calculate equivalence to Indian standards.

---

3. Equivalence Certificate from AIU

Since IB is an international curriculum, you must obtain an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). This certificate ensures your qualification is equivalent to the 10+2 system in India. You need to provide:

Your IB diploma.

Your detailed marksheet/transcripts.

---

4. Additional Requirements

NEET Eligibility: You must qualify for NEET and meet the required cutoff.

Counseling Documents: During counseling, you'll need:

IB diploma certificate.

Marksheet/transcripts.

AIU equivalence certificate.

NEET scorecard.
