Dear Candidate,

This is a serious forum for answering queries asked by genuine students who are in need for advice. Kindly do not post such questions, let's not be childish. If we can assist you in any query, do let us know. Please try & understand the sincerity of the people answering students queries. And 1+1 = 2 for your question.

Hope this helps. Thank You.

Hi,

1+1 is equal to 2. That is one plus one is equal to 2.

However most of the preprimary or primary teacher say 1 and 1 is 11. To help the little kids to write number 11 easily.

So teachers use to say 1 and 1, 11 at time of teaching so that student does not get confused and learn to write number without confusion.

But conceptually 1+1 is 2 and 10+1 is 11.

Hope it helps.
