Hello medha,

You can surely do mass communication and journalism course online,

There are different universities which provide you degree/Diploma for the same in distance learning

  1. Annamalai University
  2. Bharathiar University
  3. Guru Nanak Dev University
  4. Jiwaji University
  5. Madhya Pradesh bhoj open University
  6. Vardhaman Mahaveer open University.
  7. Awadhesh pratap singh University.

Diploma courses range from 14000-80000 fees for different universities.

The bachelor's degree costs around 25000-1 lakh per year.

You can also apply in different universities which are private and provide distance education.

There is 5% quota for widow candidates but those are for regular candidates.

You can further ask anything specific if you have any doubt.

I hope it helps,

Best of luck
