Hello there,
With a NEET UG 2024 score of 224 and belonging to the ST category:
a) Eligibility for MBBS through PMSSS :
1) PMSSS (Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme) is primarily for students from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. It doesn't directly provide MBBS seats but offers scholarships for general courses, engineering, and professional studies, including some medical-related courses.
2) With 224 marks, it might be challenging to secure an MBBS seat under the ST category, as the cutoff for MBBS is generally higher. However, if you're eligible under PMSSS and meet the cutoff, you might get a seat in allied health courses. b) Applying Next Year after a Drop Yes, if you decide to drop this year and improve your NEET score, you can still apply for the PMSSS scholarship next year, provided you meet the eligibility criteria at that time.
Make sure to keep up with the latest guidelines and cutoffs for PMSSS and NEET for more accurate information.
