1) what marks in NEET PG are to be scored to get admission for MS in a government college?
Hi aspirant
hope you are doing absolutely fine
Firstly the candidates must score minimum qualifying marks in NEET PG to be eligible to go further with the counselling.
GENERAL - 50 PERCENTILE
SC/ST/OBC - 40 PERCENTILE
It is too early to predict the cut off for NEET PG MS as every year the competition increases and the cutoff depends on the number of candidates, difficulty level of the paper, et cetera. But to be on the safer side, one must score above 900 marks to get a government college for MS.
Usually there are around 500 students scoring above 850 last year. which makes them as top ALL INDIA RANK under 500.
MS is a demanding course after MBBS, many students opt for it. So try to score above 850 to get your desired college and branch
ALL THE BEST
hope it helps
