There is no other as such direct scholarships. You might get chance to avail a few more scholarship's by different organizations and government while pursuing this degree.

IPMAT 2018 Final Selection

The candidates for IPM 2018-23 Batch will be selected on the basis of overall performance in IPM Aptitude Test (AT) - 2018, Written Ability Test (WAT) & Personal Interview (PI). Any candidate who fails to appear either in AT and WAT & PI or both shall not be considered for selection.

Phase-1: Application & Exam

  • Eligible candidates should submit their application online till April 18, 2018
  • Candidates satisfying minimum eligibility criteria should attend the online IPM Aptitude Test (AT) 2018 to be conducted across 28 cities in the country i.e. Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam. IIM Indore may change the cities/ centres.
  • The date of IPM AT 2018 is Friday, May 11, 2018.
  • IPM AT 2018 exam pattern: There will be three sections in the Aptitude Test namely Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA) and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ).
  • Each question will carry 4 marks.
  • There will be a negative marking of 1 negative mark for each wrong answer except Quantitative Ability (SA) Section (these questions will not carry any negative marking).
  • Aptitude Test will be structured as under:
  • Quantitative Ability (QA) - Multiple choice (MCQs) - 40 Ques - 40 min
  • Quantitative Ability (QA) - Short Answer (SA) - 20 Ques - 40 min
  • Verbal Ability (VA) - Multiple Choice (MCQs) - 40 Ques - 40 min
  • Sections are to be attempted in a pre-specified order and this order will remain same for all the candidates.

Phase-2: Shortlisting

  • Only the candidates having positive raw scores and a minimum mark in each of the three sections of Aptitude Test will be shortlisted for Written Ability Test (WAT) & Personal Interview (PI).
  • Sufficient number of candidates will be shortlisted for WAT & PI from the eligible pool  for each category (General, NC-OBC, SC, ST and PWD) using the merit list generated based on Aptitude Test Score (ATS)
  • The minimum cut off mark in each section will be decided by the Admissions Committee.
  • The minimum cut off mark for shortlisting in each section will be based on the categories of applicants.
  • Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are not shortlisted for WAT & PI round.

Maximum Weightage to sectional scores in shortlisting is:

  • IPM AT 2018 score (ATS) 100 Max-Sum of all the scores arrived
  • Maximum and Minimum scores are the highest and lowest scores obtained in respective sections by the candidates from the eligible pool.

Phase-3: Final Admission

  • Shortlisted candidates shall appear for WAT & PI at any one of the eight centres i.e. Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata and Mumbai.
  • IIM Indore expects a consistent and minimum performance in the different parameters of Personal Interview (PI), which will be decided by Admissions Committee.
  • Candidates not meeting the minimum performance in any of PI parameters will not be considered for the next stage of the selection process
  • Only those candidates satisfying the requirements mentioned in earlier stages will be considered for the final selection.
  • Category wise merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS)
  • Provisional admission offers will be made accordingly adhering to the Government of India reservation norms.

Computation of Composite Score (CS):

  • Aptitude Test Score (ATS) - 50%
  • Personal Interview (PI) - 35%
  • Written Ability Test (WAT) - 15%
  • Composite Score (CS)
  • Sum of above scores
  • No intimation will be sent to candidates who are not selected for the final offer.

IIM Indore is one of the best management colleges in our country so you don't need to worry about it. Still, for your information of-course, it is AICTE approved. IIM Indore is the first IIM to come up with a  five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). It is meant for young students with managerial and leadership aspirations. IPM is aimed at students who have passed out of Class XII/Higher Secondary or equivalent from schools across India.Total number of Seats for IIM Indore IPM are 120 only.

For applying for this IPMAT exam application has been opened from 12th March and it will be closed on 12th April so you need to fill it before the deadline. The exam will be conducted on 11th May 2018. While filling the application you will be given a choice of many centres in different cities you can select the city which is most comfortable for you and you will get the venue of exam there only.

You can fill in the application form by following below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the official website of IIM Indore
  • Click on the registration link of IPMAT
  • The candidate needs to generate a User ID and password
  • This User ID and password will also be sent to the candidate through registered Email and SMS
  • Next, the candidate needs to re-login using the credentials
  • The next step is to enter the required details in the application form. candidates must ensure that they enter the correct details as the same cannot be changed later
  • Pay the registration fee through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking
  • Candidates belonging to reserved categories need to submit valid and attested certificates supporting their reservation category

The application fee for candidates belonging to General and NC-OBC categories is Rs 3000, and for candidates belonging to SC, ST and PWD (DA) categories are Rs 1500. The fee can be paid only in online mode through the following:

  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Net Banking

The eligibility criteria for IPMAT 2018 is officially prescribed by IIM Indore, the exam conducting body.

  • General and NC-OBC Category: Minimum 60% in Standard X/ SSC and Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations
  • SC/ST and PWD (DA) Category: Minimum 55% in Standard X/ SSC and Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations
  • Age Limit: The age limit for general category is maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2018, and the age limit for SC/ST category is maximum 22 years of age as of July 31, 2018
