10 th student how many years to upsc exam

UPSC Eligibility Criteria:
As you are in 10 th standard, approximately you have 5 to 7 years time to appear in UPSC exam as it depends on your age. If you attain 21 years then you are eligible to give UPSC exam along with that you must be in final year of graduation or have completed graduation which is minimum 3 years, from a recognised College or University.
Minimum age limit: Candidates must be minimum 21 years old.
Maximum age limit is 32 years for General Category candidates. There is 3 year relaxation on upper age limit for OBC Category candidates and 5 years for SC/ ST category candidates.
Education Qualification: Candidates must be in final year of Bachelor's degree or completed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised College or University.

To be eligible for UPSC the candidate should be of 21 years to 32 years of age and should have a Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering. The UPSC has mentioned the UPSC IAS 2022 eligibility criteria in its official IAS 2022 notification released on February 2, 2022. So only after graduation, you will be eligible for UPSC.
