Hey Ridhika!
Students can now apply tor B.Ed right after completing their class 12 exams from any of the country's recognised boards, according to the new NCERT rule. Aspirants must pass the Common Entrance Test(CEE) which is a way to numerous B.Ed colleges across India. Previously, it was required of B.Ed candidates to get at least 60% in their graduation degree.
Those candidates who received a minimum of 60% in their 12th boards are eligible to sit for Common Entrance Test(CEE). Students who pass the test will be offered a variety of courses, including an integrated B.Ed course, a 2 year B.Ed. and an MSc. ED course. The two year B.Ed course and the MSc.Ed course, on the other hand, are only open to students who have finished their bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60%. The final merit list will be compiled using 80 % of the CEE score and 20% of the Class 12 exam or the graduation score.
However some criteria might be different as per different universities.
