You are very much eligible to appear for CAT. The top IIMs, especially IIM - Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta, have a very high cutoff. However, CAT score is used for shortlisting candidates initially. The shortlisted ones are called for GD-PI and WAT. Past academic scores are also considered before finalising admissions.
