Kshitij you have an average academic record. For a general category student to get a call from top IIMs like IIM A, B and C you need to have above 99.6+ percentile. For other old IIMs like IIM K, L and I you need to have above 98+ percentile and 99+ to increase the probability of your conversion. To get a call from all new IIMs and ultra new IIMs you need to have 95+ percentile.

So to ensure your call from IIM Ranchi target a min. 97+ percentile and from IIM Kozhikode target 98.5+ percentile . But again there is again no surety of selection or getting a call from these colleges because CAT marks are not the only parameter involved in the selection procedure. After CAT exam every college in which you have applied prepares a merit list to call students for next round of interview based on your aggregate score which comprises of many parameters such as CAT marks, 10th, 12th and graduation percentage, work experience, engineer or non-engineer whose weightage varies for all different colleges.
