10th grade is 91.45%. 12th grade is 69.54% ENgineering CGPA is 8.47 Work experience is 2.5 years in IT MNC. Should i go for CAT ? How much should i score to get into top IIM's ?

Dear Aspirant,

You can surely go for CAT exam, but the question remains only for you, whether you should give it or not. If you are trying for top IIMs, you need to get upwards of 99 percentile for any chance. You need to aim above 99 percentile for your chances to increase in the admission in Top IIMs. Further you will have to convince the panel in your interview process too.

But clearly define & ask yourself why you are pursuing this course. You need to know that the decision you are taking is a well thought & driven for your future betterment. Keep these things in mind before making any decision. Interact with IIM students to get more understanding of the course & you'll get a better idea of the same.
