Hello there,

Yes, you are eligible for direct second-year admission to a civil engineering diploma program after completing your 10th, 12th, and ITI.

Many polytechnic colleges offer lateral entry into the second year of diploma programs for students who have completed a relevant diploma or ITI course.

Here are the steps you can take:

  1. Research Colleges: Identify polytechnic colleges in your region that offer civil engineering diploma programs and have lateral entry options.

  2. Check Eligibility Criteria: Contact the colleges directly to inquire about their specific eligibility criteria for lateral entry.

  3. Gather Documents: Prepare all necessary documents, including your 10th, 12th, and ITI certificates, mark sheets, and any other required documents.

  4. Apply for Admission: Submit your application within the stipulated deadline.

The admission process might involve an entrance exam or merit-based selection. Be sure to check the specific requirements of the colleges you're interested in.

Remember , while you might be eligible for lateral entry, the availability of seats and competition can vary. It's advisable to apply to multiple colleges to increase your chances of admission.
