Hello aspirant,

Candidates must receive at least 45% on their 10+2 or equivalent test from an accredited board or university in order to meet the minimum MHT CET qualifying requirements for 2025.
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell has released the MHT CET Exam Pattern 2025. The exam will be administered online as a computer-based test in accordance with the MHT CET Paper Pattern. The Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) on the MHT CET exam will have four possible answers, with only one right answer. The MHT CET 2025 exam will have questions that are comparable to those in JEE Main, however there won't be any negative marking.

To get admission to engineering colleges in Maharashtra, you'll need to consider both your 12th board marks and MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) marks.

Here's how they're considered:

12th Board Marks (HSC)

1. Weightage: 40% of the total admission score.

2. Calculation: Your HSC aggregate marks (out of 500) are converted to a score out of 40.

MHT CET Marks

1. Weightage: 60% of the total admission score.

2. Calculation: Your MHT CET scores are converted to a score out of 60.

Total Admission Score

1. The total admission score is calculated by adding your 12th board score (out of 40) and MHT CET score (out of 60).

Admission Process

1. Counseling: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, conducts centralized counseling.

2. Seat Allocation: Seats are allocated based on your total admission score, category, and preferences.

To give you a better idea, here's an example:

Suppose your 12th board aggregate marks are 85% (out of 500), and your MHT CET score is 120 (out of 200).

12th Board Score

1. Aggregate Marks: 85% (out of 500)

2. Converted Score: 34 (out of 40)

MHT CET Score

1. MHT CET Score: 120 (out of 200)

2. Converted Score: 36 (out of 60)

Total Admission Score

1. Total Score: 70 (out of 100)

Hope this is helpful to you!!!
