12th passout students can apply for CDS exam
Hi,
CDS (combined defense services) exam is conducted for the post of commissioned officers in Navy, Air Force and Army.
This exam is conducted by Union public service commission (UPSC). There are certain eligibility criteria to appear for this exam. And one of the criteria is educational eligibility. The minimum educational qualification to apply for this exam is candidate must possess graduation degree.
So 12th pass out student can not apply for CDS exam. If you wants to give this exam enroll first in any graduation course and after attaining the eligibility you can apply.

Eligibility criteria for CDS:
For Air force and navy
B.E/B.Tech from a recognized university OR Degree from a recognized university with Physics and mathematics.
For army:
Any bachelor degree with recognize university.

CDS is a graduate level exam, so to be eligible for CDS exam you first need to complete your undergraduate degree from any subject, there are several other exams where you can apply after class 12th, some of them are SSR examination, NDA examination, 10+2 tech examination etc.
