NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for undergraduate students is a nation wide examination for admissions into MBBS and BDS courses in government as well as private medical colleges across the country. CBSE or Central Board of Secondary Education is the conducting authority that organizes this exam every year.

The details of the examination pattern are mentioned below:

1) There are a total of 180 questions that will be OBJECTIVE TYPE and of 720 marks.

2) 45 questions each  will be asked from physics, chemistry, Botany and zoology.

3)Examination will be conducted in OFFLINE MODE (PEN AND PAPER MODE)

4)Duration of the examination is 3 hours along with negative marking.

That means for every correct response you will score 4 marks and a wrong response will cost you 1 mark.

5) The question paper will be released in 8 languages, which are English, hindi, Tamil, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, marathi and telugu.

6) The syllabus of the examination includes all the topics covered under NCERT textbooks of class 11 & 12.
