Yes, it’s right. CBSE announces that there will be practical paper of Math for Class12 students in Board Exam 2020 .But you won't worry about it, because you want to give improvement exam for Math. That means your syllabus for Math will be same as it was earlier. So, you won't need to give any practical exam. Only you have to prepare for theory paper.

While you fill up your improvement form, you add a photo copy of your original marksheet wherein you also have your practical marks.

So the same marks are printed on your new mark sheet and you don't have the option of giving practicals again, unfortunately.
