Every year there is a change in cut off seen in JEE mains and jee advanced.
Now this year for St candidates the cutoff percentile score set by Nta was 39, but in 2019 it was 44 percentile.
But still you can't assume that the cut-off closing ranks will increase or decrease because the increment or decrement of cutoff totally depend on the following factors like :-
- Number of candidates appeared in JEE Mains.
- Number of seats available in participating Institutes.
- Previous year cut off trends.
- And difficulty level of examination.
If this year the number of candidates appeared less then there might be a chance that the cut off closing ranks will increase.
