Hi,

JEE mains exam is conducted two times a year. This exam is conducted  tentatively in the month of February and April every year.

The exam dates are notified by NTA when the release the notification for the application form filling. Similarly syllabus is also released at the same time.

Until the nta releases the syllabus for the year 2021 you can refer the syllabus given in 2020. As the syllabus remain same every year usually. Even if the changes occur they could be a slight modification of the syllabus. you can refer 2020 syllabus till then.

The official dates aren't released now.But generally the January session(Jee Main-1)is held in 2nd week of January and the April session in 2nd week of April.
Regarding the syllabus, there is no official announcement yet but the syllabus may get reduced owing to the current pandemic situation.
But there won't be much change so start preparing from now only referring to the current syllabus available.
All the best!

MHRD announced to reduce the syllabus of Jee Main and Neet 2021. Boards syllabus has been reduced. CBSE has reduced the syllabus from class 9 to 12 by 30%. And it is expected that this will also be applied on Jee Main and Neet syllabus. Please wait to hear it from the authority. So in this situation, it is advisable to study from NCERTs only. Study the important chapters from NCERTs as the reduced syllabus is not in our hands. Solve mathematics problems like Calculus, Differentiation, prepare organic chemistry as it requires total understanding and mechanism. So you have to prepare from NCERTs. Once the syllabus releases, you can move on to other books like HC Verma, DC Pandey, Mathematics - RD Sharma, OP Tandon for Chemistry. You can check this link for the reduced syllabus of CBSE. http://engineering.careers360.com/articles/will-jee-main-syllabus-be-reduced
Now Jee Main 2021 is so far that predicting anything will be wrong. It all depends on the situation then. Usually Jee Main January session is conducted in the first and second week of January and application releases by September. But this year it's a bit different. The Authority will think about it and you should keep checking the official website for any updates regarding Jee Main 2021 Application.
