NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Hello aspirant,
If we look at previous year cut off's of medical colleges, a general category student must score 650+ to get a seat in government colleges, and 630+ for AFMC, Pune (For girls) and 620+ (For boys) and 600+ for private colleges in Karnataka. The same goes for OBC/EWS candidates as the marks and cut off differs only by 5-6 marks.
A candidate belonging to the SC category must score 630+ marks to get a government seat in reputed colleges (In states such as Delhi and Maharashtra) otherwise 550+ are also sufficient. An ST category student can easily get a seat in government college with 500+ marks also.
Candidates with 250+ score can get admission in deemed colleges such as JNMC Wardha, Vinayaka Missions and Dr. DY Patil Medical College. However, the fee structure is quite high for deemed colleges.
Hope it helps!
