Correct Answer: Rs. 64,000
Solution : Given: 25% of the annual salary of A is equal to 80% of the annual salary of B. The monthly salary of B is 40% of the monthly salary of C. The annual salary of C is Rs. 6 lakhs. C's annual salary = Rs. 6,00,000 25% of A's annual salary = 80% of B's annual salary and B's monthly salary = 40% of C's monthly salary. C's monthly salary = $\frac{6,00,000}{12}$ = Rs. 50,000 B's monthly salary = 40% of C's monthly salary = 50,000 × $\frac{40}{100}$ = Rs. 20,000 Annual salary of B = 20,000 × 12 = Rs. 2,40,000 Now, 25% of A's annual salary = 80% of B's annual salary = 2,40,000 × $\frac{80}{100}$ = Rs. 1,92,000 So, A's annual salary = Rs. (1,92,000 × 4) A's monthly salary = $\frac{1,92,000 × 4}{12}$ = Rs. 64,000 Hence, the correct answer is Rs. 64,000.
