No,
it starts with neet so 2017 is considered your first attempt.
As per new rule, you can attempt maximum 3 times starting from 2017. That means if you appeared in 2017, it is considered as your first attempt.
The age for limit has been removed from unreserved category although the age of 13 means for the reserved SC or St category seats
However the maximum number of atoms is limited to 3 starting from the 2017 need that means you can attempt Neet only three times irrespective of the year in which you are giving it starting from the year 2017
Any examination equivalent to Neet on Eid given before 2017 is not held in this criterion

hi avnish,
- From 2017 onwards, you are allowed a total of three attempts in NEET. If you haven’t appeared for NEET 2017, then your appearance for NEET 2018 will be considered as the first Candidates who fall under these categories - Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats. there are talks to change the neet attempts to 9 for general and 14 for reserved category but it hasnt been officially announced yet. so give your neet once you are ready, good luck
No the three times for NEET examination attempts is not been removed by the Government and the NEET examination rule of the number of attempts by the students still persist as per the government rule a student can attempt for NEET examination for maximum three times in his life no fourth time attempt would be counted.
The number of attempts for NEET-UG is 3 ONLY.
This rule is applicable from 2017 onwards irrespective if the number of attempts a candidate has given previously.
No, this has not been removed.
Only three attempts are allowed.
Recently it's been purposed that a candidate only can appear 3 times in NEET so it's still there .
And if you are feeling like not fully prepared then if you don't give NEET 2018 it will not be counted as your 1st attempt but 1st attempt is to be considered only when you apply.
No, it is not removed.
Your first attempt will be counted from 2017.
If you haven’t appeared for NEET 2017, then your appearance for NEET 2018 will be considered as the first attempt and they will be able to appear in NEET two more times.
Good luck!!
No this rule for the NEET examination is not removed and it is still present now too just last to last year it was modified that the NEET examination 2016 was considered to be as the first NEET examination and so from there If we calculate than this year's NEET examination would be the last one those who are appearing consistently from 2016.
