Correct Answer: 40
Solution : Given: 40 men can complete a work in 30 days. But 10 men left. Let (40 – 10) = 30 men complete the work in $x$ days. Now, M 1 × D 1 = M 2 × D 2 where M 1 and M 2 represent the number of men and D 1 and D 2 represent the number of days. ⇒ $40 × 30 = 30 × x$ $\therefore x = 40$ days So, the rest of the men will complete the work in 40 days. Hence, the correct answer is 40.
