With 424 marks, your All India Rank will be around 1.1 to 1.3 lakhs approximately. You have low chances of getting a seat in the government medical colleges in Punjab with this rank. You need to score atleast 518 to get a seat in government MBBS colleges. But you can try for BDS. You have fair chances in the same. There are many good private colleges where you can get a chance.

Good luck!!
Hey dear, cutoff varies every year, if you see the last year's cutoff which went very high that even students getting 500 marks were unable to get a good govt. Mbbs college. So, with 424 marks if you are a general candidate, than you have no chances for mbbs even under state quota, and if you belong to some other category than there may be some chances under state quota, for that just stay tuned to the counselling.
