5. How does the progeny formed from asexual reproduction differ from those formed by sexual reproduction?
Hi,
The progeny formed by the asexual reproduction is identical to the Parent organism in every way It is the same consideration as the clone of the parent. Asexual reproduction skips the meiosis and the certification is done by only the cell of a single parent either male or female.
Cross reproduction in the organism by the engagement of both female and male, random fertilization takes place. The zygote formed is the result of the fusion of female as well male cells, So their progeny carries the genes and same characteristics/traits as the parents.
Thank you.
