Hello himanshu,

To get admission in a Government college for BAMS/BHMS course, your score should be above 350 marks.As per your question and details you are getting 540 in neet  that's a very good score although you belong too general category.You can get admission in government college with no difficulty.

Admission to government medical seat is based on NEET marks which is done under two categories that are state quota (85%) and all India quota (15%) .So without general category and having scored 540 marks in NEET you have decent chances to get a government seat but in the later counselings only.
