with the rank of 54000 you will not be able to get IT.last year cut off of IT was around 30000.You will not be able to get CS too. You can choose for Mechanical or some other branch.

If you are looking for Vellore or Chennai then answer is Definitely NOT. You can try at VIT Bhopal and Amravati Campus. Infact there are also less chance to get admission in IT Branch. Don't lose hope go for counseling process. You can get admission in Bhopal or Amaravati campus if fewer students opt for IT in these campus.
