Hi aspirant,
Conversion of percentile to actual marks is not possible unless and until you know no about the score of other candidates and the number of Total candidates appeared for examination. actually percentile refers to the percentage of people whose score lies behind you. so in case you have 55 percentile it means that 55 % of the total candidates who appeared for the examination have scored fewer marks than you.
Since you have not mentioned the examination which you are talking about I would suggest you to see the previous analysis of percentile versus marks for the same to get an idea of what you would have scored .
