Analysis of Quant for overall CATB19

Quant for 90+ percentile 35 mrks in it.

95+ 42 marks

98 + 45 mrks

99.5 66mrks

No they are not!!

The difficulty of Quant was higher in Cat 2018 then Cat 2017 but still around 15 questions were manageable.

For 90 percentile anything below 15 is not working out.

For 99 percentile this year around 20 right questions would be enough to safely get over the line.

If you have attempted less than 10 you will have lesser sectional percentile and then you will have to cover up in the other 2 sections to help your overall score and percentile.

Hi

According to me even though the paper was a little tough, 15 questions should be manageable in any paper. For getting a 90+ percentile that should have been the minimum target number of questions to attempt.



If you can tell me what percentile you are targeting at I'll be able to tell you how many questions were sufficient. Anyway don't be discouraged. Study hard for the rest of the exams.
