I believe in CSAB you might get Civil/Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering at your home state NIT. If not you can get Chemical/Production/Biotechnology at BIT Mesra , Ranchi or Metallurgical/Manufacturing at NIFFT Ranchi through CSAB. I believe you will have more options with GFTIs than IIIT and NITs, in both JOSAA and CSAB.
Also consider State Engineering College Counselling , since you have fair chances in securing seat in one of the good state engineering colleges in either of Core/Circuital Branches.
TIET, Patiala is another fair option and has good Infrastructure and Placements. It is one of technical Institutes rising steadily in North India.

Dear Aspirant,
You have not mentioned your category so we are assuming it to be General. Now based on your rank you will not get any NIT. But you can try state level counsellings for states like Haryana, Punjab, MP, Odisha, Uttarakhand. You will get branches like ECE, ME, Civil, Chemical, Electrical in some good Govt. college. So you must check state colleges.
