75% scrapped criteria is applicable for 2018-2019 batch students class 12th for nit, iit, iiit?

Hi Abhay,

The eligibility criteria required for getting admission in NITs, IITs and IIITs previously was:

  • Candidates need to Secure at least 75% or more aggregate marks in their 10+2 board examination.
  • Or they should be in the top 20 percentile list in their respective board.

Now this year on account of Covid19 pendemic all the things have got delayed. To ensure that the study of no students suffers in the prevailing conditions for this year this eligibility criteria requirements has been scrapped and now candidates need to get passing certificate only.
